ive got an e30 its got the 1.8 at the moment but im looking to put a rb26 or similar turbo nissan motor in coz they tough as nails any body done this or have pics of these type or similar motors in e30s ???please post also would headers on my 1.8i make a good difference considering ive got an exhaust(turbo flow)and a cold air intake???

m325i yea its a four door and doesnt do badly for its power to weight but i just want a little more out of it and a chip is an option thanx

ok the chip thing is beginning to sound dodgy so how would i solve the leaning out or how could i advance the timing without a chip or something like that plaese some help?????

where would i get my hands on a performance chip???would this asfc made by apexi work on a bmw if so is it a good buy??helps you add fuel where you want in the rev range?

motor revs well untill 5000rpm approx and start to slow down till redline i checkd the sparkies and they look like theyre running a little lean any cures or ideas of whats going on???the motor is a 318i e30 automatic with intake and exhaust also where can i get a chip for this car

if i made the head gasket a little over 1mm and increased the octane would that help??ive got a pod filter,turbo flow exhaust and i chekd my sparkies not to long ago and they seem to be running lean also the rpm is quick until bout 5000rpm then it slows down till redline ???any cures or maybe a chip?

if i changed the head gasket to a higher compression one and run higher octane fuel to get rid of da pinging id have then would the car be quicker or have more hp or torque wats the advantages and disadvantages????

hay 325 grant...ive got an e30 with those wheels on it and im looking to swap or upgrade to the basket weaves which sound pretty good right now coz i want to lower the e30 at the same time and have it look different the rims ive got have got all new tyres ne1 interested in a swap or can organise the basket weaves for me thanx :mosh:

its sweet seven im dun wit debating intakes i just settled taking the black cover from behind the lights away to allow more air or cooler air into the engine bay and il get a heat shield too soon i just love the sound high in the revs .im getting an exhaust on it soon and yea wen is the next cruze here in auckland or a meet or sumthing where we can see mad ass beemas and take pics and footage etc ???thanx :mosh:

my friends mazda familia 1500 dohc fuel injected has a problem...again and were wondering with the knowledge that you posses you could help out . wen you drive the car it wont rev passed 3000rpm or 3750rpm but afta driving a while it then moves further up the revs to like 5000rpm its will not rev passed those rpm at all but you can often drive the car with the rev limit being stock as it was and without a problem,i asked a garage bout it and they ruled out ecu or rev limiter fault and were talking bout it being an ignition problem??? wet/moist distributor? plug leads? sparkplugs? a/f? ecu? any help is gladly appreciated thankyou

its gotta make a difference andrew think about it the air will be alot colder and as a rule sum1 mentioned before for every 10 degrees lower intake their will be an increase in hp so yea *sic please post a pic or 2 of your setup :mosh:

hey *sic how come yours makes that sound?post a pic of your setup bro. :mosh: yea im not scraping the whole intake so the car wont work im just extending the intake with the pod to the front bumper for colder air so yea it in theory should work.it would be trick to have that induction sound at the same time as the pod being behind da bumper
