Took a 535d sedan around taupo track last wk and was pretty impressed. In fact it beat me in a drag race and I was in a new V8 M3 at the time. Turns out that without using launch control the M3 just can't get it's power down

Agreed. This always happens when the discussion becomes about price (a lot of members not just you). However the fact remains that unless someone is being the car their opinion on price is irrelevant. There are people that dont see the value and there are others that will pay the money for an original and mint car. I simply dont see the point in the arguement over and over again just to be right. Its a shame that a very positive thread turns bad because people cant agree to disagree

We get it you dont believe older BMWs are worth what other people do. Yet it turns out that some people are getting really good prices and even making money

Tend to agree with ya Glenn good examples are getting harder to find. I gunna keep talking prices up haha that said I was offered $20k for mine. To be fair it doesn't take much to spend $20k if you've paid $12 for an average one that needs work

Taking a new X6M aroud taupo track next wk. I think they are a waste of time but will most likely be a good drive
