Ahh, the voice of common sense, I still miss my single turbo RS. CV joints were the only issue in 140,000kms. Cheap transport, Corolla, of pretty much any vintage.

I'm about 99% certain a friend of mine owned this about 10 yrs ago, at 44km, and equally sure he paid around $50-60k for it, making it way over priced now. The exhaust is awful, it drones like you wouldn't believe and the interior would eventually turn you into a serial killer. At least now it has some half decent wheels, the originals were ugly beyond belief.

I may take you up on it, have spent most of the day sorting the car window, I can't be without it for 3 weeks, so they're trying to find a second hand one. Will deal with the iPhone tomorrow.

What a great weekend, car window broken, $1300 to repair and wait for the parts to come from Japan, broke my driver on the 8th of 54 holes of golf ($200 shaft) and then dropped my iPhone, smashing the screen $$$$$$$$.

Converting a M60B40 to run a Toyota 5/6 speed manual?
Palazzo replied to [email protected]'s topic in Performance
Isn't the 6 speed in the Supra about $6k? Not that cost effective. I can sell you a whole manual Supra for $10k or so. Rileys was a Lexus V8 to a Toyota box I 'm pretty sure Glenn. -
After spending between 3.15 and 3.50 this morning trying to calm my toddler down and then back to bed, I was woken by a car alarm. You guessed it, mine. My last car was stolen (Legacy Turbo) to be replaced by the LS400 (nobody will steal that) and now this. Smashed the passengers window, rummaged around inside and ran off, taking nothing. So stupid they couldn't even find the CD player and CDs. Wankers,

Well done on the sale, keep boosting those prices, means I can justify spending more on ours.

Ignore Baycorp, go to the LTSA and plead your case, poverty, student(?), whatever works and keep going with them until you have exhausted everything. If you sort it with them, you can ignore Baycorp.

Nice. Real nice.

The brown thing looks like a Marina.

Same. But hard to justify the price diff for a weekend toy between my 'vert and this. Never say never though. What I thought, but if so, that's one serious pair of man boobs in photo 1!

I think his is Alpeen?

I did years ago from the Wellington City Council, they put up a fuss, so I put up a bigger one, they offered to pay and then had a near heart attack at the cost of a full price Yoko A008 (told you it was years ago). Tyre only.

I remember going for a ride in a '44 Turbo when it was near new, great quick car and I still want a 928GTS.

I saw this today from Alten Rd in traffic. Given that things normally look better from a distance, it wasn't promising.

1UZ with the Eaton Supercharger that was on TM a while back.

I was once talked out of buying one by a Saab mechanic, I don't think that really requires any further explanation.

The Alfa V6 sounds superb, I think it's great.

What colour is the boot? Any dents or rust?

3GS has video, it plays back very clearly on the phone and on computer.

The biggest problem as I see it with the iphone is the name. It suggests that it will be useful as a phone, yet as noted above, it has very poor coverage/strength. Example, at the bach my old Motorola V3X had 2-4 bars of coverage, iphone nil. Mine has also cut out of calls by turning itself off (under warranty, so it's going back). The camera is 3mp, not 2mp and is actually pretty good. Record some video on it and playback is excellent, although sound quality is a bit scratchy. Some of the apps are rubbish as mentioned previously, why would you bother? It's still a neat looking toy though and for free, pretty good value.

Everytime I log in, I have to re enter password and user? What's gone wrong? Can be seconds apart.

Trust me Glenn, with a partner and a 20 month old toddler, I have all the "sound and noise" I need at home, hence why a bellowing V8 appeals.
