    Damaged M325i

You'll need a flat bed and a winch.

    Damaged M325i

If they were there, I might have. Right side gone and wheels smashed. Maybe they're lying around the viaduct there somewhere.

    Damaged M325i

Ahh. Had the cops there when I went past.

Who was the poor bugger with the grey Tech1 on the Southern just past Newmarket (St Marks on ramp)? Looked like it had been hit and smacked a kerb? Two smashed weaves and some panel damage. Bummer. About 9.45 this morning.
  5. I think I've seen a one off E34 convertible photo before somewhere. . . . . I don't think a B16A would move an E34 shell either.
  6. How about $16,500 including the warranty? Whoops. I meant $15,500.

    Seriously WHY!

I'll check with him and get back to you, sure he'd be keen too.

    Seriously WHY!

No, but I think I've heard that name. Lives in Mt Eden/Balmoral. Hasn't driven it for ages, wants an LSD=$$$! Loves his Pugs.

    Seriously WHY!

I should put you in touch with my friend. He has a 205 with race prepped motor, big webers, cam etc. Parked up in the garage because it keeps eating diffs.
  10. I'd chip the private seller on his price and buy that. 50,000kms is at least 2-3 years driving for most people.
  11. Sounds like the stolen ones out of my legacy!
  12. I was quoted $600 for paint for a E30 bonnet, didn't do it, must shop around. $5k for a respray too, that also stopped it dead.
  13. Wills was an '87 Tech 1 same as mine, except his had Schnitzers and mine has weaves. Looks tidy.
  14. To clarify, it's just the noise of the window going up and down repeatedly, no strange grinding noises or anything like that, just an electrical whir as it goes up and down. Over and over and over. . . . . . . .
  15. Thanks Glenn, will keep that in mind. Assume if I allow $3-400 it should be enough?
  16. Had a look at an E36 coupe, the drivers door window drops as it should when the door opens and shuts again, but then at completely random times will open and close repeatedly. Only 5mm or so as it's supposed too, but noisy and annoying. Easy fix? Cheap? Expensive? Cheers.

    E36 bits

^^^^ Cool, cheers for that, it's for a 328i, just pondering if I want to drive it daily.

    E36 bits

Just a thought as I have a chance of buying something different. What would it cost for? Motorsport lower front spoiler Rear valance for the same Side skirts (Are motorsport ones different?) Clears all round genuine M3 alloys/Schnitzers/Alpinas Plus springs/shocks to lower All for a coupe. Cheers.
  19. I think Euro Italian (sponsor) was cheaper than that.

    Wet seatbelt

Pretty sure the window seals are ok and it was on an angle, so the water should have run away from this side.

    Wet seatbelt

Got in the car this morning, which had been sitting outside over night, pulled the passenger seat seatbelt all the way out (for the baby seat) and found that most of the seatbelt was wet. Not dripping, but def wet. Any ideas on cause/fix? '96 E36 coupe.
  22. I would tend to agree, I thought it was outrageous. May have included the flywheel, the first time they did it it ended up with a terrible vibration and was completely redone at the workshops expense. Maybe they saw him coming.
  23. My brother in law had a '90 911, which is admittedly newer and possibly more expensive to repair, although I doubt it. He replaced the clutch. It WAS $5k. If someone quotes a number, maybe they have an idea.
  24. Budget of $5k or so is no X5.
  25. I think the X6 has 4 seats. Peugeot and Volvo did some older 7 seaters, otherwise it's pretty much satans' spawn, aka people movers.
