Always a pleasure Riley.

He's gonna have to answer that but I think he plans to. He had a grin a mile wide after the first run Ha.
-
You like Vaag too.

Dosen't seem that odd. I think BMW dual mass are the same story. The clutch in the E46 had done 160k and although still adequate, it was getting a bit soft. I think it was the exception to the rule. Reeeaaally expensive to replace.

Was a busy day out there sat. Only got 2 sessions in. Couple of happy snaps Gavin at the wheel, has done a real nice job on the engine. Cars running really well with heaps of power.

I think I will. E30's a floppy piece of origami.

Clean and prep it at least before the cage goes. Its a mongrel to prep with the cage in the way!! I'm thinking I might paint mine first as well and touch up the areas that need it after.

Or, E30 owners, always in the way.

One could argue this isn't a "proper" CSL either. In much the same way a USA E36 M3 isn't a M3.

Haha dont ya just love the ideas that float around inside the head. Do it, then I at least I wont have the craziest project here.

Agreed. One of the nicest shapes around. But for the money I'd be happy with this

I vote M3 boot and window. Looks kinda funny without.

Thanks guys. This stuff seems really complicated on the surface but once you find out more about it, it becomes quite straight forward. Josh, it'll be interesting to find out what happens when the heater is disconnected and yeah, that big ass box in behind the stereo is the bit that wont yet fit.
-
And a black! Nice run guys.
-
Oh, and Glenn, this is the diagnostic port. It was in the engine bay, there wasn't anything in the drivers footwell. Is this unusual?
-
My head hurts Ha. Sounds like you're getting there bit by bit though.

Thats this thing right? The GM5/GM V is the white box. Controls Windscreen washing, central locking, keyless entry, electric windows, car & key memory, interior lighting, alarm and cut off sleep mode. And this is the power distribution? Behind the fuse block. Question... the heater is controlled by the module behind the heater switch panel? How much is removing the heater going to affect other things??

The floor tar?? We took it off with a little heat from a heat gun and a small 1" scraper. It came off easy. Looking orsum James.
