According to realoem Jap versions can use a 3.46!?! Unfortunately the only place it was marked on mine was on a sticker on the top of the diff. NZ new 328 autos (euro spec) use a 3.07 which is real close to the manual 2.93.

The 328s average looking single pipe arrangement? You would think there was room for improvement there. The 330s ,like Josh/Hybrids, are a twin pipe system from the factory. Could be an option to look at?

No idea on the rear but on the front you'll need adapter thickness of 0 (if you wanna match std fit).
