  1. http://www.thecarconnection.com/index.asp?...2&sid=178&n=158 What do we think?
  2. Has anyone seen the preview for the movie 'The Bourne Supremacy' ?? This is the sequel to 'The Bourne Identity' with Matt Damon. Anyway it looks like there is an awesome car chase with an E30 BMW. :thumb: Can anyone confirm it?
  3. Yeah post the pics Nat. Actually I was thinking of trading up to an 330iM sedan. There were a couple in Akld at Jerry Claytons that looked good & they were offering me a good change over price.
  4. Nah I think she must be higher up in the food chain... a front desk girl wouldn't get to take a 6'er home.
  5. Yeah the woman who parks next to me works at the local BMW dealership, and there's a different set of wheels there every few days. New X5, new 330M, new compact, new X3 the other day. Its all good. Not a bad job Carl you're not wrong about those dishes... they are the weak link.
  6. Rear shot. This thing is growing on me :thumb:
  7. Small bright light on an otherwise dismal morning in Wellington...
  8. M-model for BMW range 13 July 2004 Powered by a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine and capable of completing the 0-100kmh dash in less than seven seconds, a hot version of the imminent 1-series BMW is expected in 2005. The model will wear 125i Sport badges and will form the 1-series performance thrust until the arrival of a 30-litre, six-cylinder 225kW coupe version of the car the following year, which will be given the honoured BMW "M" or Motorsport badge. It won't be called the M1 however, as, being a coupe, the car is effectively a 2-series, to fit in with BMW's new numbering system. The New Zealand 1-series model range will start with the 118i, an SE version of same, a 120i petrol and a range-topping 120d. No prices have been announced. :thumb:
  9. Nothing wrong with a baby seat in an M3. I'd much rather see that than another one of those Fugly 4WD, for the urban jungle & shopping in Parnell.
  10. Sic its pretty sad if the best rebuttal you can offer is to edit my post. How gay is that??? If I wanted to race I would have kept my 200SX & 'skooled' you well & good. :thumb: Owning a BMW isn't about drag racing, its about quality & class. Oh... and that friend of my wife's with the red CRX that you 'pounded' ... well he's male so perhaps the original direction of my post holds more true than I thought! As to Honda Preludes, the last one I test-drove seemed like a nice cruiser, but would need some serious work to bring it into a performance vehicle class. The suspension needs some tightening, lose about 200kg of body weight, oh and get the rear wheels to work.
  11. Sic you and your CRX eh... I'll list for you all the current CRX owners I know. 1. My godfather (very gay) - black CRX just like yours 2. One of my wife's friends (also very gay) - red CRX del Sol (but *sic pounded her) 3. One of my workmates (very pregnant, cause *sic pounded her) - black CRX 4. *Sic - badassness black CRX that will pwn me :mosh:
  12. I subscribe to NZ Driver & as always am eager for each monthly delivery. Like the Autocar mag, the BMW 1 series features large on the front page. Interestingly a very positive review. "This is not a cut-price, entry level, minicar offering remarkable packaging. .Despite being introduced as a five-door hatch, this is every millimetre a true BMW." According to NZ Driver it is unlikely that NZ will get the 1.6L petrol. More likely that we will get the 1.8L diesel, 2.0L petrol and the 2.0L diesel. These will all carry 6 speed manual or 6 speed auto trannies (!). The 2.0L diesel claims 120kW @ 4000 rpm, with a massive 340 Nm of torque @ just 2000 rpm!! The look of the car is warming on me too... and I know I'll definitely test it once it arrives. (also... it appears that BMW will be the first car manufacturer to start offering NAV functions for new cars, possibly from early 2005).
  13. Modified vehicle, 18 yr old driver... you can't expect to get decent insurance terms. The statistics for vehicles in that demographic are horrendous... I don't know why any insurance company insures male drivers under 20.

    'Rice'

*smirk* Very good. BTW viking your avatar is giving me badger nightmares.
  15. I think I was running Bridgestone Potenza S-03's on my Nissan 200SX. Nice soft compound, & loads of grip. However only lasted me less than 20,000km. Also, they did not give any warning when they were about to give way. Nothing more embarassing than an unexpected drift & leaving fish tails all over the road.
  16. Yeah I finally took the plunge & forked out some cash for a digital camera. Seeing as we're going to Oz on holiday later this week took advantage of duty free pricing. If any of you guys are interested, http://www.digitalcameras.co.nz are good to deal with. So now I can get some decent pics of my ride... after: 1. getting back from holiday 2. cleaning the car 3. wait for some good weather on a weekend
  17. I'd put that front grill on my E46.

  19. Yeah welcome to the crew. One of these days we'll organise another Wgtn meet. (oh and Napier aint badass, he can't even spell psycho )
  20. Get the 'Defender' for offroad use... and it still LOOKS like an old Landrover.
  21. I haven't taken the time to see it in the flesh, the local dealer has sent me numerous flyers on it etc. but just doesn't do it for me. I have mixed feelings about BMW doing the SUV thing, even more so with the Porsche Cayenne. Yeah sure it will still chew up the tarmac on the track... but you can't honesty say that thing is a Porsche!!
  22. ... which is why we love them so much!
  23. Haha... or if he still wanted a 4WD... how about a Lada?

    ROFLattack!

I don't think I have seen a game that suckful in my entire life. Not even on a commodore 64. My phone has games more badass than that.
