  1. My turbo M42, the turbo sits right infront of the harmonic balancer has done for 30k no problem, your not running the car long enough to be a issue also change to GT101 hall senors the stock bmw units are a pain
  2. Ah if you go after market ecu you change triggering position so wouldnt worry about it too much

  5. One of them days when works over rated for customers so whipped up some stuff, Quad throttles for a M42 using GTIR Pulsar units ( going onto my daughters car ) and start of a Audi Grp B intake manifold for my turbo M42 E36.

Ill have to take your word on that, standing watching with some of my nissan customers they too struggled to believe it was only 2k Just read the bit about the family who owned the silvia supplied the catering free, swayed or not some wouldnt look upon that well just saying as it leaves the door wide open for finger pointing

  15. I run Ferrodo DS-2.11 seems ok, then again rotors are cheaper than brake pads these days.

M50B25 Turbo : IHI RX8 ( comes off a 96 Lola Indy Car ) ECU : Autronic SMC Yep divide the torque by the diff ratio = around 400 Ft/lb motor, in saying that Polley its still 1396 Ft/lb wheel and never blown a head gasket to date ! Hows your M50 going Troy ? Post a thread love to have a read........

    E34 TURBO

    So little update for amusement its been dyno'd and front cleaned up, made 487hp on 11.8 psi on 95 pump, stock motor done 287,000km never had the head off. Only mods are the DTM cams and my own intake manifold and exhaust headers, runs A048 for every day rubber which it sort of needs since it makes 1396 ft/lb at the wheels so pulls average i guess. Sits at just under 1400kg's now after fitting fibre glass front yet to do the back, made own billet quick shifter seems to do the job etc. New motor on the stand yet to so in with all the go fast bits in it ill then lean on it harder sadly will need to tub the rear for wider rubber to make use of anymore power ( kills the rears now on semi's in 4th, private road for the PC sensitive ) Box is still a 260G got a bunch of 6 speeds lined up for change of motor, not a rainy day car !

In reference to the Chang made parts they are very good at polishing a turd using a CNC, your right its not a BMW specific item which is why your not getting many replies, JDM transplants are pretty common in BMW's i guess its about keeping within the intent of the car its less common to see turbo BMW everything as per stock which makes it somewhat more attractive. Ill let you know how my V10 goes
  19. Plenty have done e30 V8 M60/62 Billet stuff is cool and all but will it make it go better? Each to their own when it comes to performance What seems around 1K us for a cam cover that weighs more than stock for me a can of spray paint does the trick, rather spend the money on better brakes etc
