You dont hear much the turbo makes for a good muffler

all done and tuned ......well worth the effort workmanship is pretty average but does the job
-
Based it off the old manifold that seemed to work ok
-
Its in and runs need to give it tune to suit

I commend you for wanting to further your life skills however you have picked a complex one to further your in-devours, Ive been at this over 30 yrs and still learn daily if i was to look at someone like your self i would like to see at least 5 plus years in the industry, bare in mind things are changing daily so you have a hard task ahead.

HP are what they are based on others knowledge not his own, even i get mentioned in his retirement speech at the end hes done well using others experience, tuning is a black art regardless what you read if it wasnt then everything would tune up the same and thats not the case. Im so lucky to be mentioned......not https://stmtune.wordpress.com/2015/03/03/end-of-an-era/

Try these guys there not about smoke and mirrors, when i first started tuning no one helped it was about hard work and as stated a understanding today its about bright lights and sitting behind a PC and selling your self where no one can judge if your right or wrong cause its on google so must be true. http://www.efi101.com

Im pretty up on whats needed its what my business is all about and i do this stuff 24/7 Theres also many other ways of doing things for guys on a low budget if those in the know are willing to tell
-
I may have read this wrong so please forgive but im pretty sure there's a slight difference in price between having a budget of 500 for a manifold versus a 8-10k + transplant, just a thought
-
you can make 300hp on the B25 without trying plus less work than a transplant
-
Stand the motor up

The m50 will go to 8500 on hydraulic lifters without a issue i can prove that , any higher you'll need solid, cast cranks are know to absorb harmonics better than billet even Nascar still use a cast cranks at times. There's very little point i pulling big numbers out of any motor if your not making power there all you do is break stuff for bragging rights or a cool dyno sheet, my M50 with stock everything on a 250,000km motor apart from cams was still making torque and power at 7500 and no sign of lifter issue so why flog it. Want more low down stroke it to whatever as for gospel? Remember its all very well people giving great advise but your the guy that's driving it and that your yet to do, so really you have no dam idea how its going to go, your longer rod gives better compression loading on the crank blah blah blah. Here's a better deal finish it then drive it you should be around 1000-1100kg if not lighter, add to that 5-600hp 400ft/lb torque so around 2:1 power to weight , now im more than likely got this totally wrong but at a guess you'll be a ton faster than a 1200kg making 350-400hp to which i believe can lap Hampton in 1:10. Bottom line theories are a awesome thing they can also screw with your head, plan things yes but your still got to know how to drive it and set the thing up to prove they were worth the time and money to start, many have done more with less.
