just use the same size lift pump as the main feed pump and run the return line into the surge tank with a small bleed line from that back into the main tank

going to make a slider screen operated from inside the car to cover 1/4 of the rad that way if it gets hot i can open it up, it uses a 86deg thermostat and v12 radiator the main issue i think is the water pump i made it works a little too well

I ran the e34 on the weekend just gone cant complain too much it did everything well and didnt break only issue is it had was it runs too cold

as im sure you know as per been mentioned i like the 4 cyl with a turbo added or go all out with better cams head work and multi throttle bodies the car does handle better with a 4 fast cars are not always about the power the main thing is whats your budget that will ultimately decide what you do

Lowering Compression on m50b25 vanos

my .0002 cents worth my m50 runs 12 psi stock compression on 91 octane, see's full boost at 4k which isnt an issue i spin it to 8200 runs pretty big cams [email protected] [email protected] runs autronic ecu breaks the 245's loose topend of 4th gear point is no detonation no decomprssion running thick head gaskets isnt a good idea this is on a stock bottom end the good motor has yet to be dropped in and will do so once the 6 speed and upgraded rear end goes in as has been mentioned each to there own -
what you have will work its normally a compromise when doing headers try to come as far away from the port as possible before the bend that helps as far as the reflection goes, the issue with it is they tend to back feed into the chamber adding to detonation thus the tuning issue, you dont need 4-1 on those turbos just whatever you can get to fit plus dont get hung up on equal length boost over comes all

simple yes, good no has too many reflections meaning tuning will be an issue for ignition timing

they are designed to take heat and engine rpm has nothing to do with it, the shock loading killings they also well known for back feeding into the exhaust port when they fail but hey what would i know they are nothing like a N1 turbo have no idea where people get their info from, if you want to up grade them as such to GT28 cores itll take 3k out of your pocket bargain. N1 turbos are .60 a/r comp cover 47mm inducer, .63 a/r turbine and 47mm exducer
