Yes indeed, however i still dont really understand the drifting thing i like to go fast for lap after lap not 3 corners lol Theres a E46 drifter in Aus ive been talking with who runs the V10 its sound epic, my next plans are to get a mid 2000's DTM and drop a V10 in that but finish one project at a time me thinks lol
  2. Only issue to date is power steer pump failed, now its raining down there so lots of power is pretty useless. Daymon loves how the cars feels and its response to steering input he now needs time in the seat.
  3. I guess your right its not ever bodies thing, its built for drifting the E46 is very popular in Europe for doing so. You can buy anything you like for them all well developed for Drifting and they work very well, its a great platform to work with.

Its not fair to detract away from those who take great pride in the cars appearance to which i to admire their labor of love, i use to spend much time polishing and detailing to realise i spent more time do that and worrying about where i parked it and not enjoying the vehicle. Thus i use and abuse, life is short make use of it

  12. Buy a degree wheel and a DTI with 1" stroke, make a TDC dead stop and find the center lines of both cams including lift If not remove the cam and use a cam doctor

  14. Totally agree, But none of our opinions will stop those on low income from buying them, i believe the separation between classes grows daily things like for some become the only chose they have. I should start making my tire treatment again, sell a bottle with every set they buy

Laws and morals are again based on your standards as per those with less money, New tires are not expensive Chang made plastic tires again you may not use them but many do, people by nature are tight if they can save a buck they will. Pick one of the lesser evils, people use these brand names that maybe pretty average or they run around on bald tires
  16. Correct and agree Peoples standards are directly related to their income, the 10% topend of the market dont hesitate to buy top of the line others tend to cut corners where they can and sadly their car is on top of that list.
  17. The guy selling these is doing nothing wrong and many other places are doing the same, im sure we have all at some point brought things used not just tires so dont expect too much. People are driven by the dollar whether it be good or bad, if they little they will spend little, as much as these are dated they are probably still better than a new chang made plastic tire.

Stock 02 is a narrow band you cant use it for tuning Like i said, i dont stick with a number for tuning i give the car what it needs whatever that number might be, running 11/1 afr is rich enough to run some serious boost up it. You need a wide band meter of sorts like Innnovate LM1/2, you leave all the AFC buttons in the 0 position to start with, if you have never tuned before i suggest you got to a reputable tuning guy.

The 5 button one works fine just set the dip switches to the car as in 6 cly etc the manual is on the net if you hunt, Dont get hung up on the number for mixtures you need to give the motor what it wants not what the text book says, also if your running a 02 sensor you'll need to disconnect or the ECU will try and fight the AFC. The settings of 1600rpm are fine remember they are all connected together, all the buttons are doing is lifting the curve up and down at set points the unit works the rest out, i use to use them on turbo cars without a issue only time they are not ideal is you can set the mixture at 3000rpmm for cruz and itll be the same for 3000rpm with boost so its a compromise but its also alot cheaper than other methods.
