Only glad to have helped Darren I still firmly believe they need mediators in the court system that have some sort of engineering back round no offence meant to the lady that did yours but they tend to buckle to the person that yells loud enough not facts to which thats all we put forward with proof was facts. When im called into the court system as you know im on call for cases like this its purely that they have no one that has any idea of performance industry problems and the bull thats feed to car owners. Most on here know i come across blunt but after 30 yrs in the performance industry i get tied of crap thats feed car owners and that even on here dont like to read or hear what i say, but as the movie saying goes " you cant handle the truth" and not many can they like the sugar coated version or just want to hear selective words that make them feel good. On a better note we will get you back on the road dude, better faster stronger using the right people that arnt green behind the ears cheers steve

yes i was meaning the cams and head, the stock cams are very mild ports need a slight tidy up to get the intake to exhaust flow better, not bagging your hard work i think theres still more in it, if it was me try and find another motor and give that a once over and drive what you have for now. to get the best i think youll need to turn it harder to around 8k or more but itll need some serious work to support it i turn my turbo m42 to 7k and wants more but ill do bigger cams before i go any further

did you monitor the air intake temps? it works out to be 100kw motor something isnt right they are around 104kw stock thus you may have and i would say you do have back pressure issues

dont waste your time been there done that TME cant do a dam thing and the police dont give a s.h.i.t either there was 8 off us on tradme that got tucked by the same guy in Hamilton for many thousands of dollars and guess what? yep despite us ganging together to nail him, he got away with it i still have the emails from TME clearing pointing out they can do little to help, thus i dont use the service anymore threatening all these things to the seller only works with honest people. -

itll be hard push to equal the torque of a turbo setup as well as power the last s50 i had anything to do with ended up around 425hp and your 6-10k wont buy 1/4 of the parts needed to make those numbers and as per above the drive line plus ecu and supporting bits to make it all work, if you intend to do this and wont a turbo eta 30-40k wont be hard to blow or just slap a turbo on a m20/50 which using your 6-10k would work ok, my own m50 turbo ive given up keeping count of the money tends to kill the fun and i hope you dont intend to go street racing if its not an intended track car my s.h.i.t box work hack e36 318is makes just under 300hp on 12psi idles at 750 and you cant see a thing out front, cost well under 6k including the turbo setup, is pretty good bang for buck on a low budget its just gone past 12k on a fresh engine and still gets me 90km for 20 bucks gas on 91. weighs less than a m3 and goes just as well, food for thought

the M30 is such a strong engine even in stock form apart from the rockers if you rev it to hard thus i went for the M50 as itll run past 8k, the little M42 has just gone past 11k since the build and still runs strong as for the M60? someone want to be the donor im keen
