merry birthday :mosh:

Looks like a very sweet car for the price you paid! Your right about the wood grain - not particularly attractive! But otherwise it looks great.
-
I can assure you that would be fun - I mean its my favourite road in my E36 325 so I can only imagine how it would be in an M3... late at night is the best time to be on that road - nothing else around and some pretty massive corners! My idea of fun - gets a little dodgy in the wet, no matter how you drive because of the volume of trucks that use the road...

Man, I feel for you! Im very sorry to see that it had to come to this... I really loved your car for how mint it was - I dont think I ever saw it dirty or abused, such a shame to see it laid low. Oh well, better things to come in the future eh? EDIT: What hit you? Their car a right off too?

sh*t!!! But in the herald the cops said they would not investigate propety crime unless some sort of violence was involved! Maybe they were having a quiet night? But as everyone else has said, good on you for doing something about it - it seems to be societys way to just ignore it if it isnt happening to them...

Can I get some of what your smoking?
-
sort the box and then see if it doesnt improve... Shitty box cant help the situation...
-
It hardly seems worth doing that to a 320i - put the money into an engine conversion!! Lots more fun!

Probably someone belted a curb or something in daddys new XR8 and didnt want to take it home with curbed mags so "borrowed" a set off that one... Or the factory mags on the BA falcons look cool on someones Hiace van or Hilux? (or any number of 5x114 vehicles - older fords, skylines etc) Either way it is ratshit - why dont people just buy their own! Trademe always has cheap deals on wheels - I scored some multi fit 15s (with warrantable tyres) for $80... I mean, f**k.
-
Happy Birthday bro, Drink lots and have a good night - at least you will have a good reason for being constantly pissed from christmas through to after new years! :mosh:

How reliable are M50 engines, and e36 generally?
Napier_E36 replied to lordandrevv's topic in General Discussion
Cheap??? Unlikely!!!Just buy a really comprehensive warranty with the car - I brought one for $900 which covered everything and if I ever claim I only have to pay for the wearable parts - like I just got a whole new radiator in after it shattered the endtank - I just paid for a new radiator cap and thermostat. Otherwise they are brilliant cars - I really regret having to sell mine but I want a car that loses traction when I lean on the gas in 3rd at 80km/h :mosh: -
Theres a little lever under the steering coloumn that makes the wheel go up and down, but to my knowledge they arent telescopic (goes back and forward) - just move your seat closer or further back...
-
well it does say "urban sport" on the side... There fore it may never know what mud is.... If you need help getting it dirty Andrew, let me know - you should have seen the Camry after gravel bashing out to the forest then mud bashing thru the forest... all at 3am... it was caked. Not bad for a front wheel drive! (I know, wait until I get my Landcruiser - ill be even worse...) Looks like a very nice wagon bro - would you like me to see if it goes sideways? :mosh:

that thing looks evil as with the 2 red bits on its head... Betchya that would tickle if it decided to take a nibble...As for the 2 spined crab spider thing... WTF.

Even if he did instigate it, attacking the poor bastard with a claw hammer is uncalled for... f**k, if you cant win a fight with your bare hands, dont resort to weapons. I dont know how many times I have seen someone get pwn3d with the weapon that THEY brought to the fight... EDIT: Riot Batton not claw hammer... Weapons are for pussies
-
I think its just that in these photos he is wearing clothes... Usually he is just the opposite when his pic gets posted here...However, racing suit and helmet etc and behind the wheel of a Hiace van.... Badass

No, sorry no leather. Yeah I saw that E30 on trademe, but I want to build my own - how I want it! Im open to offers around 12 on this, I need to get rid of it so I can start my new toy!!!
-
That really would be "Rolled, Bowled and Assholed"How is your brother now - I bet he was in alot more pain when he woke up the morning after! (seems to be the way after a crash)

Well, my baby is for sale... I dont want to - I really wish I could keep it and build my project, but I need shed space, and my 325 is just sitting in the shed most of the time due to me being in Auckland and my car being in the shed in Napier... It is practically standard, but it has a few things done. - 18" M5 replica wheels (optional) - chrome dipped, but the chrome is peeling - I was going to sand blast them and powder coat them, but I will leave that to the new owner, as the new owner may want to rechrome them, powdercoat them in a colour of their choice, or change them altogether. (For that reason I can include a set of factory wheels and take a few $ off the price - I may have a use for them - but not on an E30) - Full 2.5" exhaust from the headers back - 19" Coby in the middle and double pass turboflow muffler at the end - Lowered on Low King springs - standard springs included - Sony CD player - New clear front and side indicators - Set of angel eyes - I brought them a while ago, but never got around to putting them in. - Car has done 139XXXKm, been fully serviced every 10,000km Asking $15,000 but I am open to any reasonable offer PM me, email me on [email protected], or call me on 021 423 947 Since I work up in the Auckland area I can bring it up here for the new owner (or anywhere on the way) Very regretful sale but I want to build an E30 with a lexus Quad Cam V8 chucked in to make things fun!!! The sooner I sell this, the sooner I can start my project!! :mosh:

Um, no one had expressed an interest to buy - how does that make us time wasters?

Final shot... For some reason this one is dark - even though I took the pic in direct sunlight...
