around 1100 for bilsteins, 1300 for konis however the bilstiens arent much shorter than stock ones.....low springs still not captive. try adding spring pads, that usually works. or else get shocks properly shortened, not sure how they do it but its doable

kinda hard to tell w/o pics but there is no reason that there should be a vacuum line off the dizzy.....it doesnt make vacuum. the blanks are normal on pre FL 320i's. the car runs fine? wouldnt worry about it

a 5spd? you probably wont find a much higher diff than what is already in there (of course i depends, if its a 3.64 there a plenty higher, but if its anything over 4 i would bother changing) or just put that 2.5 in!
