kinda hard to tell w/o pics but there is no reason that there should be a vacuum line off the dizzy.....it doesnt make vacuum. the blanks are normal on pre FL 320i's. the car runs fine? wouldnt worry about it

a 5spd? you probably wont find a much higher diff than what is already in there (of course i depends, if its a 3.64 there a plenty higher, but if its anything over 4 i would bother changing) or just put that 2.5 in!

I have been fortunate enough to drive the E30 M3 Evo Sport, an E36 M3 Evo, and an E36 M3 4-door. The older car craps oll over them. Not in a straight line, but through the twisties, where it really matters. I have not driven the E46 M3, but apparently it is as good as the E30.
