replaced the fuel pump after my little puke incident.......she running alright now (apart from the fact i think i killed my clutch driving back.....meh) she seems to run ok.....the problem is the tacho is jumping all over the place...and (even though i dont care but it is prob related) my fuel economy gauge is stuck in one place however it seems to pull smoothly, and if not exactly the same at least similar enough for me to barely tell as before and my funny idle has come back (but different) ignition cap/rotor? CAS, RPM sensor wiring is all sweet ECU/electrical issues? its odd as it literally happened immediately.....no warning at all, just 4th on the front straight suddenly having no power..... any more ideas? will pull cap and rotor tomorrow and have a once over anyway

pretty sure i buggered my fuel pump at puke.....managed to get home just but its running like sh*t...jumpered the fuel relay and the best description i can think of is that it surges anyway its for a face lift...in tank fuel pump? any advantage to getting a better one?

why not advertise it as a m325i replica? the headliner can be swapped, or the one in the 318 sprayed to be black.....its virtually the same...as long as people know it doesnt have the masty ability of "genuine" m325i

just outta info... the "high compression engine" is a myth from what ive researched, it refers to the fact that pre FL engines have a higher compression ratio than the FL, refer all the UK guys with pre FL making stock power (when stock) and the FL making less. feel free to correct me with proof anyone

looks pretty nasty...sensor wiring just hanging loose....dunno how good your mechanicking is but either you or someone (a mech) should tidy up all the wires...is a lot better when they are all tidy, less chance of them getting damaged. fill her up and find out where it leaks from....the whole cooling system isnt too complicated so should be easyish....possible just had none in the first place? has a lotta potential!
