it sounds like when dave and i had his instrument cluster disconnected....needed jump starting, ran for a bit then died.....is the tacho and speedo and all that working fine?
-
ah...they use eccentric bushes? well....didnt know that! thanks glenn....looks like modifying the subframe is the way to go then....damn i need a welder!
-
oh and heres the link to the site....http://www.k-mac.com.au/makes/bmw.htm

well when you lower an e30....it induces negative camber (have a look at someone who has cutties....they have like 4' of negative camber) which is the the top of the wheel leans in towards the car, and only the inside edge of the tyre is touching the road, its an inherent part of the e30 suspension set up...this correctst that...basically meaning you can go as low as you want and still have 100% of the tyre touching the ground = more grip
-
as you all should know, e30 rear subframe is not camber adjustable...how many ppl would be keen to get some rear camber kits from k mac in Oz...project price would be c. NZ$300 i imagine...maybe less...shouldnt be no more
-
looks like shelleys old burgandy one.....its bullshit...2 bumpers and f**ked up skirts....what a steal
-
my mums front already looks like that..wouldnt want to make it lower!
-
daves always had a first gear problem when it stops pulling round them....i dont spose bentleys is any help? doesnt sound like spark plugs if it pulls fine and revs under no load fine....L jet problem sounds likely.....backfires caused by too much fuel? something wrong with fuel system?....ghey!
-
what are you talking about tim? its fun! thats why i done it more than 3 times..promise
-
yeah i was there last year, and am keen to come back after uni...prob another 4-5 years or so. i was thinking of an e30 touring, but in that time probably a e36 would be a better bet...i want a touring so i can sleep in it, and still go round the nurburgring when i get there! probably a 325 or something...although everything will depend on price...maybe a e46 330i ive read an article about the 530d touring...was stupidly quick! want one! 330xd.....hmmmm
-
theres also k mac http://www.k-mac.com.au/makes/bmw.htm they make rear kits too....although i remember reading somewhere their front kits weren't that fabulous
-
free plug...this a bad ass car.....i wish i had the coin to buy it....quicker than any other 320 ive seen....almost as quick as my sick 325 through 1st and 2nd i was looking at getting it and there isnt anything else that needs doing except what andrew has mentioned....the rear drums is a perfect excuse to do a disc brake swap and the cambelt is just one of those things someone that we know buy it! it would be sad to see it go to some retard
-
almost.....most noticeable with the fronts was when going over bumps..before the bushes the car sorta waves around side to side...the fronts help that a lot...my subframe ones should make it even better....much nicer than the old ones....if i was gonna go for comfort would prob just get stock new ones...i dont have your motorway problem.....must be the manual rack
-
oh...and andy has a 25mm MC dick!
-
whats the point? 1 turbo per 100 hp....woop de sh*t
-
hah i wish i was there! they do have all the luck...bastards. nah just got family...thats a pretty decent price...but i think others would be more interested...seeing as i have a facelift! but im sure someone else would be...andrew for example...
-
