30kg? that sounds a helluva lot more reasonable than what i thought...i thought it was around 60kg? unless thats the m30? hmmm....my UK shopping list might change a little...much easier than trying to get more out of an M52. Whose is the S38? interesting choice Cheers
-
interesting stuff here...conrad what is your opinion on the reliability of less tweaked S14's, say 220-250 hp ( lower end 2.3, higher 2.5) pretty good with that lowish (comparitively) output? and for an e30 track car, would you go for the S50 over a M52 (assuming it was a M52 with 220-230hp)? ie does the extra power negate the alloy block?

^^ much better someone round here is going to put a photo guide up shortly i believe, that would be really helpful its a pain getting the auto off but not too bad, what car is this on? the e30 6's can be a pain to get the box on. just make sure you have all the bits before you start, saves time and hassle, there should be some sort of check list around the wiring is the final part to stop the car thinking the auto has to be in park or neutral to start...i have done it a few times and can never remember what wires! Quicksilver was putting up that guide, he'll sort ya

-
pft, more power. there is a reason the e30 is the best car in the world, and it aint that
-

most e30's + most 17's = gay
