would seriously doubt its a dogleg. DL is 245 anyway. plus they only came on the 323i and even then it was rare. the whole shift pattern is completely different from H pattern...you should notice it. stock to slightly modded 2.5 should be fine with the 240, wouldnt worry about longevity

AFAIK you need the e36 arms and the e34 m50 sump those are the mounting arms, the only e28 bits you need are the actual rubber mount..some confusion there, the e28 stuff is from a different engine, cant see on earth why you would use them. do they even bolt up to the block?

graeme, you cant bang the firewall out...feel behind the dash and see how close the brake bar is to the firewall...probably have about <5mm clearance? im not a fan, its simply more weight in the front of the car, where the m20 is too heavy anyway 4 cylinder for life, thats why they raced that one!

i still dont understand why they are better....i can understand the whole drag n drop thing is cool and handy, but not really that ground breaking. hard to change if your using to ctrl x ctrl v. and windows hardly seems as bad as everyone makes out...vista will only get better too. might take some time to develop but it will improve. havent used it yet however so cant judge. and gaming is easier with windows...you can game on a mac but the macbook pros have average vid cards and you need boot camp. along with being many ££ more... are their servers more stable? or something? that would help i imagine....we occasionally have server issues at work, however these comps are kinda sh*t anyway. i do like the idea of an apple network that just works, i can remember countless issues andy and i have had with PCs getting a network setup.

hmm interesting... im just curious as it would enable me wheel choice (i want a 16" 3 piece weave, the only one i have found is £1500 compomotive...i know there is more) but it seems far too expensive to get 5 lug...am going to need brake upgrades too and would prefer alloy calipers to save weight or i could just stop mucking around with cars! new place is nice, will take some photos up to show you guys

what sort of graphics card does the macbook pro come with? to at the price of the 17" pro, i can get an alienware SLi with 2x 512mb cards

but why are they just better? when i was using my cousins one i just found it frustrating to use, has some cool little features but nothing that blew my mind and made me wish i had one. windows has its foibles but nothing terrible i find. i am interested too as i would consider a mac in my upcoming purchase, however for the cost i just cant see what is so great about them, and i did research a bit and use one for two weeks

injectors do need to have some headroom however, they arent really designed to run at 95% duty cycle like the stock ones seem to. i could be wrong here however as it has been a while! you could be right about the age of them too. personally, i really wouldnt bother mucking around with minor power mods..they cost far to much for the actual gain you get out of them
