Ricky Bobby: 98% of people will die sometime in their lives. Ricky Bobby: Wow, I feel like I'm in Highlander. Jean Girard: What is the Highlander? Ricky Bobby: It's a movie. Jean Girard: Oh. Any good? Ricky Bobby: Very good. It won the Academy Award. Jean Girard: For what? Ricky Bobby: For best movie ever made. Ricky Bobby: From now on, it's Magic Man and El Diablo. Cal Naughton, Jr.: What does El Diablo mean? Ricky Bobby: It's like Spanish for like a fighting chicken.

what he said ^^ the pre FL 320/323 (not sure about 325) manifold has about 2mm smaller ports than the facelift manifolds...the FL manifolds seem pretty good, maybe why crap headers dont have much gain

yeah, i would S50 n/a it..would still be farking quick, and might actually have usable power...reliable too, and cheaper? having said that the s50 aint easy to come by..M52 would be cool too...be heaps of fun usable power, not the quickest thing in the world but meh anyway i know your gonna do what you want anyway haha just keep in mind that its kinda like throwing money away..

you n00b hold the gear wheel with your old cambelt and some vice grips (around the cambelt, not the wheel), undo with an allen key (6mm i think) in lieu of the right size torx

All Season vs Summer tyres (Falken ZE-329 vs Dunlop Direzza DZ101)
Gus replied to Yuen's topic in Wheels & Tyres
i found the direzzas great all year round...good solid tyre, decent price -
ollie its a 2L s2000 engine if im not right? no torque, kinda gay 350Z is 280hp ish but looks ugly RX8 is so so, but not in same league as the M3 or Evo plus all the other cars are substantially newer than the m3..not really fair!
-
M3 or Evo 7, but the evo would cost more to run i imagine, and not be as fun. would be happy with both Rx7 for older jap? none of the others appeal a great deal of course all pale next to the e30 m3 you could get for similar money..

i like what youve done with the pedal box if you had the mtech 2 sides it would look heaps better, maybe with an mtech one lip spoiler too on the back. i preferred the old wheels too, but i really like it, really nicely done! whats the details on the coil overs, and how did you actually do the brakes on the right side, unboosted if im right??

that vid itself is old...maybe they have finally decided to make one? that is so tough, quick too. sounds good.
-
You call that a large turbo? this is a large turbo!
Gus replied to drifty325i's topic in Videos & Sound
that is tough..even sounds like a truck! -
the issue isnt the panel itself its all the attachment bits..i could have made the panel itself easily enough but the attachment is the same amount of work again at least if not more seeing the stock ones are fairly light and they can get damaged easily i wouldnt worry about the panels, i would go for the doors, a lot less potential for weight loss there as you can literally just have a skin http://www.e30tech.com/forum/viewtopic.php...&highlight= here the thread i seen them on, the fact you got a cage means you can have something pretty flimsy
