323i head wont work with 325i domed pistons without extensive machining...can (and has) been done though. if you really want to rebuilt, makes sense to make a decent 2.7 at same time...just need crank, use your rods (i think, or 325 135mm or 320 130mm) and get custom pistons and overbored as much as you can...could even do a 2.8.. its a neverending cycle though..what do you want to do with car and how much spend? main questions in any car related excercise!

I don't have to explain myself I'm the Juggernaught Bitch Anyway it is gay in the way thats it's mainly just BMWs all riced up...chromes, neons etc But as I mentioned it has the occasional nice car I like a bit of depth to my articles, not just a modification list. Old race car articles are normally pretty good.

just a lot of the articles, the guys have no idea what they are talking about regarding engines...and just a lot of comments they make. having said that i enjoy it and like the cars they have in it...a lot that you wouldnt normally see pics of (even on the net)

sounds like worn mounts..not sure about diff mount, never changed one but the engine (very important) box mounts make a big diff being good.

perf BMW gay except for turbo e30 m3 a while back...TBMW is ok...a lot of technical errors though

another good sim from simbin (makers of GTR) so awesome...realistic old school car driving...more fun than GTR, mainly due to powersliding everywhere...has a BMW CSL too! so get a momo logitech wheel ($177ish from ascent), get the game ($40, so cheap) and LAN that sh*t up. Ring battles are awesome www.gtlegends.com

much easier/more sensible! although an 5spd -> auto swap sounds scary...why not try pick up a manual conversion kit?
-
why swap them? weight savings? the FL 320 only makes more power because of its engine mgmnt i THINK..but changing a PRE FL m20 from Ljet would be a massive pain in ass
-
well having a looksie...starter terminals all fine...the short seems to lead to the oil level sensor..thoughts/experience with this? gonna swap in my other one and carry on looking before putting new loom in

as for engine...best bet would be to find an old eta engine....put your existing head on there (possibly get rebuilt) and whammo...you have a 2.7, not the most high HP machine but a decent increase especially in torque..probably around 190hp? thats exactly what i would do...the m20 bottom ends are pretty good in most respects so you might not need a rebuild..the engine came in 325e, 525e(more common in NZ than the 3) and maybe a mild cam..something round 272/284..the stock isnt that great as for brakes, try changing to new stock pads/discs with fresh fluid and stainless lines. with the cold air ducting in place...its the worlds best setup but its a nice place to start...is fine for road use, the track will cook them a bit but if anything try racebrakes? for a decent pad..but dont go too soft comparing to 540...a decent 325 should keep up with an e34 540 up to about 100....it gets owned after though!

i may save attempted suicide with this one make sure both the threaded receivers on the pedal boxes are the same...if they are not swap them over...might save you an hour or two on top of having to take the pedal box out again sure is oddball, but it cant just be the one also, make sure you dont get the clutch line mixed up and throw away all your old "brake lines". also, when wiring the inhibitor switch, its usually the two green/black that came from the plug to the auto box, and the non blue/white one coming off the reverse light plug (i think its green/white or green/yellow). at least that is what it is on a FL 325...may be different across models

once this bunch of stickers has sold, will definitely be looking into it
