Cheers everyone again.

Going to start disassembling the rear end to put the new urethane rear subframe bushes in (thanks Paul from Interpart(#14)).

Have a new camshaft arriving later this week (thanks Dave (Silverfox)).

Replacing my broken front lip with a better condition PFL one (thanks Blair (BRS)).

Also have a new ECU and some work to do on the TPS to get it running sweet again.

Pics to follow after wheel alignment.

What would I do without the help of members such as the above to get this car going great, really appreciate it everyone.

Sadly got more holdups this week:

Rear subframe has a nice crack in it so looking to get it welded or purchase a good condition one.

Centre bearing bush on the driveline is torn to pieces so have to order a new one of those.

Diff threaded bolt holes on the top need re-tapping which is why I could only get two OEM bolts in previously.

Also have found some security wheel studs which I am stoked about, am also going to replace the rubber guibo at the other end of the driveshaft just for keepsake.

Also am going to do the lower exhaust manifold gasket.

So more refining, getting sick of working on this <_<

Till next time...

Got rear end all rebuilt and bolted back into the car with new subframe bushes and re-welded rear subframe. Just need my driveshaft bearing/mount and I can get a wheel alignment :)

Also added the new lip.

And added some bimmersport stickers to spread the word.

Got a quote for my driveshaft center bearing and mount, so thats another job sorted.

Got the lip fully fitted, it's pretty gangs rangi but suits the car :P

Going to find a new battery tomorrow.

Also took off the windscreen banner. Bit of a waste of cash since I am trying to be stealth as Q-Ship haha. And it covered my WOF sticker which isn't ideal and It made pretty creases everywhere when I stuck it down :(

Also finally get around to sorting my oil pressure sender adaptors and get my gauges rewired and plugged in :)

Slowly, slowly.

^ won't be long guys am going to try get on the track by the 31st of May.

Brought some braided rear brake lines today (thanks JiB) so will then save to braid the rest when other jobs are completed.

Going shopping for a battery today, got a bearing puller yesterday to swap new center bearing over, and the center bearing has been ordered and paid for (thanks Gavin @ Euro Italian).

All progress has stalled for the moment.

Got a new battery yesterday, am awaiting on the driveshaft bush and mount then can put that all together.

May be scraping the idea of doing any work whatsoever on the m40 and looking to buy a m42/m44 or m50.

So plans are up in the air atm, just have to see what the bank of Nathan and the bank of Dad say......

Anyone got a FL coupe shell they wana sell? No rust. Pref with a manual box and 2L/2.5
