Road Legal Track Car on a Budget

Recommended Posts

So one wheels dish polished, and the centers has been sanded with 240 and 400 grit and had a couple blasts with etch primer..this may take some time.

Pics to come.

Will look cool as when they are all refurbed.

Going stop for a beer :D

Have also cut and polished my bumpers and they are shiny again :)

And removed the wing mirror adjuster cause it broke and I am sick of the fuse blowing.

Have been for a drive with another mate for his opinion on the flat spot and said it could be the TPS, does anyone know where I could find a DIY for this? Would rather learn more about the engine and see if I can fix it myself.

Chur, Nathan

What spec are those wheels?

You should have widened your steelies and painted a maroon stripe around them time attack styles.

Thursday night. I have a test I have to study for on Wednesday. It might be tough to fit it in before then.

The day of reckoning comes tmoro WOF time....praying to the gods it passes.

Got rear swaybar in finally tonight...what a c**t of a job it is to get that in. Tension much? I had more fun taking the dash out of the car than putting the sway bars in, it sucked balls. Also got my exhaust heat painted for 2 more hp at dyno time

Verdict sometime tmoro.

Pray for the Maroon Missile :D

Awesome news Nathan

I'm busy Wed night with last day of Uni drinks. Possibly be free tomorrow night but I'd really have to play it by air.

Good to hear Nathan!

Go hard on those wheels, can't wait to see it with them on.

PS: Are you going to drop it any more?

^^^^^Thanks guys.

Can safely say this thing goes like the clappers.

The dude who did my warrant (who races ss2000) said I need to lose more weight (the car that is) so headliner is gone along with the headlight adjuster assembly more to come.

Pics to come, got a decent clean this arvo.

Blair, won't be going much lower as once get the bigger wheels with the lower profile tyres it will drop it slightly, but not by much.
