bravo 35 Report post Posted June 23, 2009 What shift trim you need?
Mattzy 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2009 What shift trim you need? Hey mate, Just the inner rubber boot and the outer finisher boot. I know I can buy the outer from the likes of Ebay. I would be pretty happy with just the inner one initally because then my car wouldnt smell like exhaust gas. And exhaust gas makes me sleepy..
bravo 35 Report post Posted June 23, 2009 Sorry mate, don't have either. Got plenty of centre consoles though!
Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted June 23, 2009 Looking good bro. Think you might have a bit of trouble getting them front wheels balanced if you are still rocking them slip on spacers, well I did anyway. Should hit silverdale and whangaparoa when your done eh
Mattzy 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2009 Sorry mate, don't have either. Got plenty of centre consoles though! Bugger, thanks anyway bud! Looking good bro. Think you might have a bit of trouble getting them front wheels balanced if you are still rocking them slip on spacers, well I did anyway. Should hit silverdale and whangaparoa when your done eh Yeah had a feeling it could be the spacers.. Will give it to my mate and see if he can make it any better. It's not super bad, just vaugely present at 100km/hr. Definately keen.. Took it for a beat down the other night actually; I've changed my mind and decided it drives rather average. Its not progressive at all when it lets go. Although I suppose it is supposed to be a sensible car for me, and it is probably a good thing having a fair wack of rear grip because anyone can drive it. Sensible is kind of boring though. I guess at least it will look pretty!
Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted June 23, 2009 Yeah mine was the same, would only come up after around 100k but it was pretty violent aye haha. Can you get 10mm in hubcentric?
Mattzy 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2009 (edited) Jammed the rear bumper on. Then took the worst photo imaginable. Just thought I'd share Also, can someone help me with what ratio my diff is? I snapped a pic of what looks like a part number and gear details before we bolted it back in. Thanks, Matt Edited June 24, 2009 by Mattzy
|ncary 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2009 Open diff made in March 1988. 40 teeth on the ring gear, 11 teeth on the pilot. 3.63 ratio. A fine ratio indeed.
Mattzy 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2009 Bimmersports most beater E30 is back! I have been to America and I have seen… The land of the free! Or should i say the land of the chicken sandwich, the crappy hand dryer, the illiterate local, the overweight land mammal, the LA bible bashing homeless person, the Chicago street thug, the corn palace, the PED Xing, the insane-scare-myself-shitless-rollercoaster-park, the Bubba Gump Shrimp food chain, the New York mystery meat food stores, the yellow taxi cab NASCAR title holding Mozart listening stock car champion, and soooo much more Or put simply..The American! Heres a quick photo of your's truely, kicking it new school at the top of the half dome at Yosemite national park. 25km's, 8'800ft above sea level. Half dome - Shamelessly jacked from Wiki - Because my 8GB of photos are at home http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/comm...2_bg_090404.jpg
