Whats "cooler" or better looking in you opinion?

So me and a couple of my mates where having a drink over the weekend and we all decided to have an argument about which was better...we had a spilt amount either side because everyone was biased, but why not ask the question to BS!?

Polls prob already been done but hey I never got to vote last time...

definatly 4door in the e30's, 2 door in the e36's

I have both a 2 door PFL and a 4 door PFL and FL.

But to be honest I don't favour one over the other. They both look good in their own way. But if I was forced to pick one. I would prob choose the coupe.

The interesting thing was that most people in the BMW race series think the 2 door is the better car. No idea why. Mine is of course a 4 door. Always wondered if it was because they thought the body would be more ridgid. But I would have thought the 4 door was more so as it doesn't have those longer rear quaters with little bracing. e.g. the 4 doors rear door area would give it more support?

4 Doors are great if you are a family person and have to get Mum and the 3.5 kids into it, however, if you are a single person or the kids have all left home (like me) then a coupe's the answer.

Coupe's look better too, but I'm biased.

E30 - 2 Door

E36 - 2 Door - Very much so sweet looker in coupe

E34 - 4 Door there was no coupe

E24 - 2 of coarse

E39 - 5 of coarse, handy as the touring dogs, kids, shopping, ski's, even firewood, well pine cone sacks.

Id say 2 door looks a bit better imo but no by much. id rather have practicality, carrying people,pc's etc in a couple is bloody annoying

This was always going to be bias towards the type of car we all drive.

The question is "Whats "cooler" or better looking"?? There is no way a 4door is cooler or better looking in my opinion

A 4dr is more convenient and comfortable yes

If I was in the market for e36 M3 i'd be going after the sedan version, cooler and more practical.

E30's can look good either, but coupes look that little bit better.

I reckon 4 door for E46 too, unless we talking M3, dont think they would work as a 4 door.

Cooler = 4 doors for M cars - fast and practical. Only drawback is lack of vaders in sedans for the E36.

Better looking = 2 doors in general.

The e30 coupes can be made to look so so nice, especially Tech1.

Have to say 4-door, the coupes... well the doors look like they are way too long, and then nothing after them? It just doesnt fit... or at least noot oon E30s, maybe E36s...
