SPOTTED! The official thread

Recommended Posts

Weekend before Easter I think it was there must have been a TVR/British car club meet in Hawkes Bay. On a rainy Sunday near my house I saw at least 3 Griffiths, 2 other TVRs, an Elise, and Esprit V8 too. Despite being British they were all moving, and quickly too :D

The first bit is the answer to the second bit. They are british so are designed to work in crap weather by default :P

Brilliant car for sure, but I'm not sure I would be paying 97K for a turbocharged 2dr fwd hatchback with loud rims and and even louder paint job.

It is pricey I agree ... lots of other decent cars you can get in that price bracket!

Still cool looking nonetheless.

^ I agree with this, just needs to be a less OTT color. Seriously cool, my Dad was looking to maybe add one of these to our Focus stable.

On my motorbike today, spotted an X6 just in time as I skimmed passed the right rear at ~40km/h, missing him by about a centimeter. Extreme care when lane splitting in rush hour Auckland traffic is needed.

yea I saw a car nearly wipe out a bike this morning

people need to learn to look in their mirrors and turn their head for a quick look before changing lanes

spotted a white e36 in Upper Hutt mall this afternoon just after 5pm

it looked a bit worse for wear

no front bumper and one side of it had quite a number of dents

Looked tidy, with more k's than mine and no wof, on Fanshawe St yesterday.

And in a lmao moment, a 3 series (E46 or 90) at the Harvey Norman car park in Mt Wgtn. A woman driver who had driven over the stops at the end of the car park into the ditch and bellied herself. About 9 guys trying to push it out. Tried to get a photo but got told off for being mean by my other half.
