Guess that means the total load is about as even as it's going to get?

Greg- that would be awesome

Wouldnt his sway bar measurements etc be irrelivent when his cars an e36 and has a totaly different suspension design?

Thickness-no, stiffness-no, brand-no.

Holy f**k that's stiff. You should keep in mind that GC favours very very stiff spring rates, I think maybe they have ultra smooth pavement in the US...or they think weight transfer is the best thing in the world :S

I'm still battling with spring rate selection myself...so far I gather that they should represent the front and rear weight distribution as well as an acceptable ride frequency - frequencies contribute to how controllable the car becomes.

Remember a swaybar would add about half as much again to the roll stiffness...

If your going into the higher spring rates than 525/700 and driving the car on the road lots I would look into reinforcing those points we talked about Ashkan to avoid subframe and trailing arm damage over time.

I'm gonna suggest you forget about upgrading your swaybars until you've had a good old crack at the car with the new suspension.

Thems some decent rates.

Hmm so even 25pounds is going to make a decent difference in the front? And I guess 100 would be a bit in the rear...especially seeing it weighs nothing in the back?

Maybe I'll stick to 525 700 and use get sway bars to suit?

Sound about right?

Sounds perfect ... remember .. they are only springs and you can change them out any time you want for uber hard if you feel the need later on.

As westie said... hold up on the sway bars until you have had a decent drive of it on the standard ones.

Ill be going for a set at some point so will probably order when you do if your not in a hurry ?

And big thanks to Brook, here is a quick snip of what the paint theme will probably end up being.

This is still very much still a work in progress, but mmm zebra.

Will maybe put up pics of the new stuff that brooke has done. Looks awesome.

On a whole 'nother note. I have been trying to put the subframe back in for half the day and it just doesn't wanna line up.

Are there any tricks to get the whole lot into the 2 threaded bolts?

And I've also been told to torque the bolts back up when the car is under load. Is this correctus?

Have tried a BFH but the alloy inserts inside the bushes just move down every time i give it a whack.

Either that or when I jack the diff up, the whole bottom part of the bush starts to come out :S
