crazyarab 6 Report post Posted August 30, 2009 Not for the "enthusiast" but you gotta give the guy credit. Swap the mags and you have one hot E30 imo. Rotary E30

antil33t 90 Report post Posted August 30, 2009 Ugh. I don't like the whole "rotary" everything. However, a 20b (no porting or BS like that) would be pretty epic in an E30.
bravo 35 Report post Posted August 30, 2009 I love it. I'd definitely buy this if I was in the market. Slight lift, 16" Borbet Type A's and quieten it down as Riley said, and it'd be a weapon.
e30plz 1 Report post Posted August 30, 2009 Porting or BS? I'd so hit a Bridgeport E30. That interior is pretty tidy too.
Apex 693 Report post Posted August 30, 2009 How much lighter would a Rotary engine be compared to a boat anchor M20? Couple this with the massive increase in power and I bet it would be a very nice drive. Was looking at this at the Four&Rotory nationals last year and it was one of the stand outs for me. Porting doesnt ruin a rotor, the owners normally do... They spend some time and money though so kudos to em.

Boost Junky 1 Report post Posted August 30, 2009 The overall look i definitely like and i agree a change in rims would set this car off much nicer, not really a fan of rotorays in E30s but none the less I bet she goes hard and looks like the owner has definitely spent the time building this so much respect to them. Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted August 30, 2009 Why does it matter if it is a rotary? Would be WAY quicker than most the cars on here. And looks like a damn tidy conversion.

User Name 19 Report post Posted August 31, 2009 Looks good, good for a show car but price tag abit much for me - even though its had work done for that you could have a quicker E30 by a rusty - couple of hundy - spend rest on having it fun
E30 325i Rag-Top 2957 Report post Posted August 31, 2009 Would be WAY quicker than most the cars on here.Yeah, it would, WHEN it was running. From my experience reliability is a big issue with rotaries, even in standard tune. Otherwise I would be driving something with a wankel in it for the power / weight advantage.
