I blame Altezza for this stupid trend. The clear look is just ugly. Never liked them, even the originals on the Altezzas. As for the "smoked" lights you can buy, I like those.

Yes, the funny thing is these were on my White E30 before I purchased it, I think he removed them the day before I collected the car, probably thought he could make some extra $ out of them instead of leaving them on the car, i'm glad he took them off, it may well have put me off buying it.

Yep but somehow they suited the MK1 Cortina & XP (I think) Falcon. Same can't be said for BMW's - YUK!!

I was going to spend a day with a file, pushing and pulling away, working on the arm stamina. But an angle grider would make quick, short, messy work of it. No one would see the hack job anyway, they'd all be getting wet over the clear tails.
