Not to play devils advocate here but I still think that black leather would look better on anthricite. The darker the car, the better white leather looks.

If you do get them mate, keep them clean (Ive seen the state of your car ;-)) !! You've done well so far mate, what ever you do will look mean.

I think you're completely in tune with me Martyn haha. Thats exactly what I think. Suits most dark coloured cars perfectly but lighter? idk. But I think thats mainly because I haven't seen light leather in a lightish coloured car before.

Ollie, luckily I don't wear blue jean, I wear black/dark ones. Sooo much better <_<

Dylan, Black will probably still be on the cards. I'll settle for white atm, see what it looks like (It will look good!) and if a black set comes up I might jump on that. The reason I'm getting a bit impatient now is that I have literally had 3 sets of black leather sports seats fall through in the last 14 months for various reasons. There must be something or someone out there who doesn't want me to have them. Ahhh

Will be picking them up Saturday morning if all goes well (ie, they're in good condition).

white interior is very hard to keep clean, i have it in my e36, thought it would be sweet but it gets dirty real easy, although looks really nice when its clean, stands out and makes it a whole lot lighter inside your car

i see the white interior and instantly think of the horrible white vinyl jobs on hondas. I had the same choice once, and went with the black and don't regret it. I just got my seats leathered with inserts to make the seats more bucket style (front seats) it cost less than 1g for mint as leather, and the seats still look brand new 3yrs later.

Looks great. Ten times cooler than the usual black leather.

I had the same interior in my E36 325i 4 door, which was Alpine White!

Cheers guys. It's always nice to hear that you've done the right thing haha.

Door cards will also be going in right after I paint them. What would you suggest to paint around the insert? Just a normal matt or satin black?

Satin. Always go for the satin.

The matt is a bitch to keep.

Cheers Tony. But won't satin be a bit to shiny for an interior panel?

Will let you know when its all sorted.

It shouldn't be toooo shiny.

Problem with matt is that as soon as you start to handle it, it starts to polish to satin anyway.

Then just becomes all patchy.

Looks good Nick but Glenn is right you need the white seatbelts aswell I think.

Did you not need to take the fronts out to get the rears in :P

I ended up getting a very good Satin Black Vinyl Dye from Repco. Went out to an automotive paint shop in henderson but they were out of vinyl paint which they recommended.

That will be the project for today I think. Getting the door cards dyed black.

I don't know, I like the black because it contrasts very well with the white leather. I don't know whether you can get the seat beats out of the fold down rear seats anyway. But they'll be staying atm.

Taking the fronts out took two seconds and it makes it sooooo much easier to work inside the car.

Cheers everyone. Brook, not too bad. haha
