Compact with the Devil.

Recommended Posts

sh*t no... Compacts are great, under estimated BMW's

Try going here with your E30 or E39...lol :D

http://www.318ti.org/forum/index.php

I cruise through there as well Glenn

So many Ti's with M3 running gear

And I am told the swap manual that a member (J!m) has made is an excellent publication and at $70 US not a bad buy especially with the back up he provides, wiring diagrams, parts list etc

I've always thought a Compact with a S14 would be interesting, pity it's such an expensive engine.

Its still expensive even using the M52B28 unless you have access to a donor car and you can do it yourself. Mine owes me around $23-$25,000 without labour. But I used all new parts except for the motor

is there a M3Ti coming soon:)

Not many people around here have the contacts or cash to go that far haha

would love to do it myself but who has got a spare 20k for the running gear. Not me I am on minimum wage so will have to save for the next 20 years to get there

There are a few on 318ti.org. American site so things are a lot cheaper because of their cash for clunkers thing they have/had going.

FYI as long as when you post links you aren't blatantly advertising other forums, it's OK. Feel free to post up links to cool projects on other forums.

And 6pots

323ti

Just don't think any came to NZ (new that is).

6cyl were also available in e46 compacts as 325ti's - i have driven a couple which we have had on our yard. Both were m-sports and well spec'd. From memory they were both Nz New too. Very awesome cars and quick! Shame they are fugy in my opinion, although the m body/interior trimmings helped them....

Thats correct.. I was told there were 2 as well...private imports from the UK. They only built them in manual & LSD

This project is still a happening thing. On hold at present due to plenty of work on, M coupe project, touring race car and other assorted builds.
