Are you aiming for any particular tuned length for the inlet manifold? Its something i have been looking into for my project. Seems a half art half science sort of thing.

I feel retardedly slow when I read all these updates ha.

^ Me too!

Awesome progress (again) Eddie.

That makes three of us <_< When I get a spare second I will start a thread for you all to tag along with my inactivity

rot62, what are you doing for a pedal box? Retrofit OEM stuff or something like a Wilwood Twin master setup?

I brought a Tilton pedal box off trademe But it hasn't turned up yet

I found this picture on the net and so this is going to be the new paint scheme for the 2002

I would like to say I sent hours working out the length of the inlet runners, but that would be just crap. :P

The runners I cut out of a toyota beams manifold and thats how long they were. :D

Would you know the offset? I wonder if they will fit over the brakes?

et11= offset?

If so they would stick outside the guards by about 10mm

A little guard flare is completely in keeping with the style of thing you're building dude ;)

You have got the flared gaurd to deal with that! That picture of the colour scheme is BAMF as! The little 2002 looks a bit soft stock, but those flares really beef it up!

With all this work you are doing I have to ask

Do you actually have a job?

It would take me forever to do all you have done in a couple of weeks

LOL yes I do.

Over this week I've about 3hours a night on it and all last weekend. That won't happen this weekend.

You are one on to it kind of guy. Efficient use of time lol. Bloody impressive the amount of custom work you have done on this.

Mounted the steering column today. Had to cut off the mounting bracket for the E36 and make new a one to suit the 2002 mounting point

Also today I got the pedal box mounted up. Due to a design fault (made by me) the clutch master cylinder didn't have a enough room to get the cap off (to close to the steering column above) so I cut about 10mm out of the cylinder and then welded the tread back on.

The weld marks above are from the reinforcing plates I put the outside of the fire wall, just to give the fire wall some more strength.
