What'd you do to your BMW today?

Recommended Posts

Decided not to sell the ti, picked up a nearly complete set of better part leather seats out of a Motorsport TI for $80 and ordered replacement badges and front corner lights off ebay.

Now making plans on what goes next, Need wheels (16" or bigger) and am thinking Mspec Bumpers.

Replaced the E36's rear pads, front brake hose, temporarily fixed the stupid window mech, got a WoF.

Started fixing up the ACS lip I ran over a couple months back too.

E30 is still being neglected.

And you forgot to update the nasty mistake made? Which with the courtesy of lucan made us look like dumbasses?

Hrrm, almost finished my wiring loom to discover I have forgotten a wire for the fuel pump. Dont want to pull the loom apart, and dont want to run an extra wire on its own~

Installed the coilovers today!

Stanced but still maintained the ride quality. Still waiting on the BBS's.

Wired up some footwell lights, they turn on when the doors open B)

Need to mount the lights properly, cable ties won't last forever. Want a switch to turn em all on manually too, mmmm....

Heres some pics anyway.

^ nice, do they just turn on with the lights atm? Do they dim with the dimmer?

Bought a new battery to replace the shitty small one that was in it cause I got sick of jumpstarting it everytime it wasn't driven for more than a day.

Nah they only turn on when you open the door, I used the door jam switch as a power source.

Going the sort out a manual switch for all interior lights eventually though, maybe a button next to the rear demister/hazards buttons.

And your E30 lights have a dimming feature?

Ooh..nah since the lights are wired to the roof lights the dimmer has no affect.

Picked up my second e28 today. 525i 3.4L conversion. Car is in rather poor condition. I pretty much decided to buy it just because I wanted the Zender front spoiler it came with. So once I get it repaired and re painted hopefully it will look like this (except red)

Engine swap as well?

Still undecided. I'm put off buy the look of the engine bay, Ill have to get some advice on what is involved and how much of my current engine bay could be used since its unmolested.

Drove it out of the garage, cleaned it for a few hours, looked at it for a while, drove it back into the garage :)
