Lucan 196 Report post Posted April 4, 2011 DIYing the whole thing Lucan ? I bought the Megasquirt PCB pre-assembled. I'm currently wiring as much of the DB37 connection as possible to a 55pin motronic connection so it'll be as close as it gets to a Plug'n'Play set-up. nickchin1308 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2011 Sexy tints! I noticed you have dechromed the trim around the windows. How did you go about that?
bimmer boy 21 Report post Posted April 5, 2011 Thanks guys. Mask, sand lightly, metal prime, sand with fine sand paper, spray black which ever finish you perfer. I went with satin. Just make sure you take your time masking it properly and not get any on the rubbers or it looks yuck and make sure it is well dry before you take off the masking stuff... antil33t 90 Report post Posted April 5, 2011 Glovebox torch? Fire extinguisher? Ski pass hole and bag? Got the Glovebox torch (broken though, battery is farked... gonna get a new battery + convert to LED) Have a fire extinguisher, but it's not stock.. that's not a bad idea... if I could find grey fabric seats with a ski pass hole I'd do it.. but my sub is there. definately add the seat to the "want" box though.
