Ace Of Spades 51 Report post Posted February 13, 2012 My BMW E30 M325i is up for sale as unfortunately I took it for a WOF and it failed badly. It failed on major rust issues in the body, underdoors and fire wall and guards, frayed seatbelt, play in Lf wheel bearing and hole in exhaust. I then took it to Ross at BM Workshop and we had a through look and found that its has had a bad front cut job and is in no condition to be driven on the road. There is major rust issues and the car isn't structurally sound. He pretty much said the shell is F***** and its not worth fixing......... It would only work as a parts car or do a swap into another shell! Yea it was originally but when I got the bonnet painted the paint didn't match up (used Lachssilber first on the bonnet) but it was like 3 shades different then the guards and roof...... But I agree you should part it out - some of those parts are quite sought after. The guys on here could give you an idea of what parts are worth. Easily get your $3G worth if not more. I have had offers for the kit, diff, seats, wheels, so they are on hold for people.
