deeveus 81 Report post Posted June 16, 2012 (edited) i would buy the $699k porsche, a 2004 gallardo or f430, a e92 M3 and keep the rest of the cash These are purely an investment and wow factor & my cock is bigger than yours scenario. It's not something you'd buy for daily use! Hands up if you'd buy it and put in an engine from a 535d ? Edited June 16, 2012 by The Diesel Guy

OneSeventy 1 Report post Posted June 17, 2012 Has been my favourite car as long as I can remember. I think the only thing I would do to it is have it painted 'bianco avus' white.

M5V8 337 Report post Posted June 17, 2012 i would buy the $699k porsche, a 2004 gallardo or f430, a e92 M3 and keep the rest of the cash In 3 years your cars would be worth half as much. And the F40 would be asking $1.6m

Golfboy666GTI 68 Report post Posted June 21, 2012 Weren't they bespoke for the F40 ? You have 2 options re tyres for an F40, P Zeros and Michelin.
liyi_92 37 Report post Posted June 21, 2012 In 3 years your cars would be worth half as much. And the F40 would be asking $1.6m Looking from an accounting sense of view, yes thats true. But looking from an economic view, the satisfaction I would get by purchasing other car(s), would outweight that I would have if I had purchased the F40, therefore I would ask the question why buy a car if its not the one you actually like If appreciation and depreciation is needed to be taking into consideration, wouldn't investing in land or property be better? If so, why would some rather this car? It is because the satisfaction one gets from acquiring this vehicle is greather to that of an extra property or land. This could also be said vice - versa. ...And of course I am dreaming talking about owning such things in the near future. hehe
