Haha they are stupid, but offer an interesting minimalistic look

Those 'acid' style chrome 'ghetto' wheels are far worse the likes of those!

not my cup of tea, but id rock a set of these over vaults or annihilators etc if i had to choose something like this.

Back in the old days we had hub caps like those haha

these types of rims have bee around for years. Check some of the streamliners from the salt lakes

They're called Moon discs, created by Dean Moon for his El Mirage Dry Lake and Bonneville Salt Flats cars.

I used to have a set on my "salt" look Holden HQ.

Mind you , not as bad as these

theres a Mazda (i think 121, its a little bubble car) around the corner from my work with those rims and the number plate MIBEAR, ill take a snapshot if i remember tomorrow

Surely those wheels would need some big counter weights in various places due to the fact the spokes are uneven. Otherwise they would wobble like hell.

And as for OP, I take it there would be a small slot to pop the mirrors off to take the wheels off? I bet it would suck if someone kicked it and put a nice scratch in it.

Also assuming surface is even, what do they look like when moving? Wouldn't it look the opposite of "spinners" as it would keep reflecting making the wheels look like its not "moving"? Have yet to see these in real life so I have no idea what they look like lol.
