Check some of the streamliners from the salt lakes They're called Moon discs, created by Dean Moon for his El Mirage Dry Lake and Bonneville Salt Flats cars. Otherwise they would wobble like hell. And as for OP, I take it there would be a small slot to pop the mirrors off to take the wheels off? Wouldn't it look the opposite of "spinners" as it would keep reflecting making the wheels look like its not "moving"? Have yet to see these in real life so I have no idea what they look like lol.
