Awesome - $hit for brains pi$$-heads with money - means they can hit stuff faster.........

Only redeeming bit to it is at least there wasn't any 'joe public' involved through being in wrong place @ wrong time........

Personally, I hope they stick this retards licence through a shredder..........

Good riddance to it. beautiful car but no argument as to the careless disregard of the driver for other road users , himself and public property.

Trouble is, the car got killed... Not the careless driver.

You'd have to be doing something silly to do that kind of damage on that corner.

 Maybe his boy-friend was distracting him then............

No where does it say the driver was drunk. He could have had 1 beer and they would say alcohol was involved

How bout the bit 'Alcohol was a factor in the crash'..................bit like excessive speed was more than likely a factor in the crash. Hitting the tree / lamp post was a factor in the crash. Leaving the road was a factor in the crash............

High odds though that he 'might' have been already charged with 'exceeding breath alcohol level' before NZ Police said 'alcohol was a factor in the crash'........

And even if he's 'not over the limit' - insurance can still refuse to pay out anyway in most cases.........depending on how your contract is worded.....

Silly mistake, paid for it with his car but could've been a whole lot worse.

Don't drink and drive, kids.
