as I see the rules, you only need.

WOF

Helmet

Duno how theyre gona deal with $2000 cars racing around for an hour at a time on sh*t brakes and sh*t tyres and expect no contact, but it should atleast be a laugh.

whilst exciting for some, its pretty much a clone of the RS Cup based around Manfield, reasonable successful too

Yeah James is the 2K Cup man up here. He is on the forum. 2k Cup is a big series now.

If you want to get involved in racing this is defiantly the cheapest way. The next being the E30 Series.

Plenty of mates to be made in the series. Piece of crap race cars generate great Camaraderie. Haha.

We ran his 2K Cup MR2 in the 6 hour Enduro at Hampton downs. Didn't even come last!

I am looking at doing this with a Peugeot 205GTi.. Total Noob to motorsport but see this as a great entry level way to get involved.

I think your comment goes against the 'spirit' of the event, and if that is all they are interested in, perhaps a different class is more suited.

Rules : 2.11: Should any one particular vehicle prove to have exceptional performance then the organisers reserve the right to introduce performance moderating measures to that vehicle, including but limited to time penalties or ballast.\

I hope this will turn out to be a great way for people to get into motorsport without the big wallets and egos, and just have some fun days.

Jamez' series is pretty large up here. Its the everyday mans motorsport with great cheap fun to be had by all.

Will be good to see you SI guys make a great series the same as it has for up here. Just keep in mind its the racers that make the series and everyone sticking to the rules and getting involved in the community aspect of it is the key to success.

Well if its kept within the rules the only thing that wins at the end of the day is the driver ability.

Last race is an enduri worth double points. You are handicapped by how many championship points you have. Series leader starts nearly three mins down at hampton so has to make up some laps
