deeveus 81 Report post Posted September 3, 2014 Have an issue with the old N12 Pulsar. It's pathetically gutless to say the least but whenst under full acceleration it misfires like a rev limiter almost, if you back off at the same rpm a little the misfire stops allowing the car to accelerate. So far I've replaced the: - spark plugs - air filter - oil filter - fuel filter Also running 95 Ron petrol. deeveus 81 Report post Posted September 3, 2014 Not sure it's over fuelling as it isn't giving any signs of fumes from the rear. It's almost as if it's starving. Might be time to whip the carb off and check float levels and a good old clean. It's been sitting for about 4 years so there could be all kinds of sh*t in there. My ute was doing the opposite a few months ago as main jet was partially blocked so would piss around when on part throttle but full was fine. What condition is the fuel deliver system, like you did mention replacing the fuel filter because if the tank has water or rubbish in it the filter won't last long.
