Do you want to borrow a Dialysis machine???

It's got no Kidneys! ;)

For those who haven't driven a manual 540i... it REALLY goes well B) Without trying!

I have just ordered the new grilles for this, apparently one side is available in NZ, the other one has to come from Germany, even the guy at BMW was laughing!

Pics in the showroom section, something will have to go seriously wrong for me to end up parting out the 540, its enough of a struggle coming to terms with selling it, let alone breaking it up!

You totally wimped out with a classified not a listing, how we all supposed to enjoy the inane commentary. E.g. I'd ask if you wanted to trade for a mint E30 ;-) Edited by Charlie F.

What's it like on gas?

It LOVES gas! ;)

It sits on around 13.4 how i drive, about a 50/50 mix of town and motorway. I have had it down to 9.9 on a long haul, and someone with lighter feet could probably get that average down into the mid 12s.

I will throw in part of a tank of gas for the new owner ;)

Haha Q was tongue in cheek, mocking tm, was going to ask if it's faster than a civic type R ;-)

Good luck with sale and tardme questions.

Fuel burns not too bad,a little more than the e34, I'm about 12.7 average over 10k or so, but more motorway.
