Driftit 1964 Report post Posted May 2 Seen this car many times over the years. Always well kept. Seems way too cheap. 1989 BMW 535i Alpina B10 https://www.trademe.co.nz/4686601122
KwS 2378 Report post Posted May 2 Thats lovely. I feel like the price is about right for a non-turbo B10? Its basically just a flashy auto 535i with some engine mods after all, so the market would be quite niche

Seems way too cheap. 1989 BMW 535i Alpina B10 https://www.trademe.co.nz/4686601122 This is a fine car. Owned by a friend who I met over 20 years ago when I bought a lovely 535is from him. An enthusiast who gave me so much knowledge about the brand from the 70's and 80's. He has had some fabulous cars from that period. I saw this car on the courtyard at Clark's in Parnell in 2000. Lovely car - Ex Sytner Alpina car - their agents in the UK. Drove it many years ago - incredible handling - truly belied its mileage. Special car from that era when Alpina was making cars as good or better than BMW M. Never had Alpina decals. Not sure why.
nath 130 Report post Posted May 4 That was cheap, I would have bought it if I had seen it earlier. To the questions on trademe: Sytner did 4-digit numbers on their plaques. The stuff about other options missing is the usual garbage question from someone who's only seen the specced up models on 'dream cars' calendars. I'll admit that the plaque doesn't look original though? Different border to my e36 B3 and ex e30 Sytner C2 which both had the same machine-bevelled 45deg edge. GorGasm 561 Report post Posted May 5 Looks like a regular 535i to me? Dad used to have an E34 535i while I was in high school, and I thought it was pretty cool. Glacier blue with dark navy leather.
