  1. Can I ask what is probably a stupid question? Do these need their own dedicated cell phone connection/number? That is a new on account or prepay set up to actually run it? I'm assuming this is the case? So connect to car, hidden away, then connected with a sim card? Cheers.
  2. Another clarification, I was referring to an S55 Kompressor (04), the torque is stunning, 1800rpm will take you past pretty much everything. And with charcoal 19's off a SL65AMG and tints, looks stunning too. I'd stand by the pricing though, everytime I mentioned AMG you could hear the tone change and the price go up.
  3. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Sure does, they don't fit!
  4. As the convertible is a 2 seat rear only, would these fit? Any E30 gurus want to add their knowledge?
  5. For clarification, that was all 4 brakes replaced at 48kms.
  6. Brakes, seat switches ($1300), sunroof switches ($1250), seat airbags (cornering ones, not safety), radiator fans ($2500) etc etc, this on a car with 48kms and 5-6 years newer.
  7. Today the windscreen wipers on the E30 decided to switch themselves from normal speed to high speed, flicked them back to intermittent and they stopped doing it. As these things don't generally fix themselves, what is the likely culprit? Switch? Stalk?
  8. Have a crack at this, record for the 2-3 litre class was set in '59, you should bolt in. 9. Forgot the sarcasm font obligatory for when someone starts quoting off the clock at 260 in a standard 325i.
  10. Must be the M Sport model. Autocar tested one in the UK on a closed track and got 227km/h, factory manual says 233km/h from memory.
  11. Pretty sure that will be one that Steve Cox(?) has built, I'd have it in a heartbeat.

    Tannoy. Preferably the Westminsters.
  13. Good question, clicked and pasted somewhere, luckily it's there already.
  14. Wasn't this owned and sold by a member on here recently, for less than this? Seems to be a recurring theme with E34s.
  15. CamB's Byzance M3 in Symonds St last week (just remembered). I like the colour.
  16. After consulting my Haynes manual and the photos that show parts that frankly could be anywhere in the car, can someone tell me where the above are in an E30 facelift 325i? Under the backseat? Boot? Cheers.
  17. I've driven one and the RS4, they're quick and feel well built, but I'm not sure I'd shell out that much for that many k's. An nz new one sold at Turners with about 22kms on it for 36k and it was manual. Yes, it was a repo. TBH, it didn't really excite me that much, but that's just my opinion.
  18. Holy sh*t! Somebody knows where Papakowhai is.
  19. There's a 4 door FL 325se that runs around Ponsonby, looks tidy, saw it a week or so back. In calypso I'm pretty sure.
  20. http://www.carjam.co.nz/car/?plate=babym3 Looked tidy, with more k's than mine and no wof, on Fanshawe St yesterday. And in a lmao moment, a 3 series (E46 or 90) at the Harvey Norman car park in Mt Wgtn. A woman driver who had driven over the stops at the end of the car park into the ditch and bellied herself. About 9 guys trying to push it out. Tried to get a photo but got told off for being mean by my other half.
  21. Not at Turners and not through the guys who would normally pick something like this up. Will turn up soon though I'm sure.
