2 pointsyeah merry xmas n all that sh*t ... definitely been a crack up & thought you might enjoy that tag I haven't been doing a lot of BMW stuff due to saving for a house and being a general boring person, probably got a step closer to sorting out this data logger / display thing of mine. However stoked to be finally in a house and setting up my man cave & garage just the way I want. Will get onto sealing the concrete and painting the garage walls etc. Might even try do the "The 12-Gauge Garage" (look it up) Highlights were Brian's memorial cruise, and watching the 2kcup starts

1 pointSo was reading the paper a month or so ago (yes they still exist) and came across an ad for a job that I thought hmmm might throw my C.V in for even though in today's market thought I would not even hear back from them. Got a phone call for an interview which to be honest I was just flattered in even getting called in for. I have been in my current position of night shift manager for 8 years so have been out of the interview side of things for awhile and I am normally conducting them not being interviewed in them. Got called back for a second interview in which I was told it was down to 3 people and by then I was both excited and nervous. A week after the second interview I was called back and offered the job on a 3 month trial (as is the case with just about any job now days). So starting next year on the 13th of Jan I am taking over as factory manager of a plastics manufacturing company (My previous job is in the same industry) , this is going to be a big step up and something I am very excited in tackling. Yay me.

1 pointMerry Christmas guys, to you & your family, whether you're admin / mods / a site sponser / a veteran member, or the one that maybe joined today (probably even Westy is included in there somewhere!!! ) May it be enjoyable, non-stressing, entertaining, & everything else you want it to be, with family & friends. Much like in here its a great crew, Xmas is about the people, not what ya get, so cruise, chill & spend the quality time with those in our lives that 'humour' us, & our hobbies / interests.... Some of you will be travelling / some may have already done so - keep it safe, watch out for the other guy coming towards ya, be patient, & drive to survive.....you're a long time dead!! From me, its my first year here - "Thanks heaps for making me feel welcome at a great site / forum - you're all awesome" May the times ahead in 2014 be everything you want it to be - theres big changes ahead for some people, new places to live / work, new challenges, but high odds this'll still be the same mad-house here hopefully........ Take it easy out there ae......... Phil. PS - Yes, ok, sometimes its about 'what ya get'............. PSS - Special thanks to the 'winner' that gave me the RST bit the other day!!! Cracked me up........you're a legend!!

1 pointthe colour, makes me want to lick it. It will no doubt be the taste of an Orange Tic-Tac.

1 pointI was lucky enough to spot this E92 M3 'Lime Rock Park Edition' - One of 200(?). Looked gorgeous in the flesh, love the colour so much! Excuse the crappy carpark iPhone pics.

1 pointThe asking $14,999 price tags just shows you what happens when you have lots of earthquakes. You lose your bloody marbles.

1 pointThanks. Front/rear pads, sensors, F10 gear knob have arrived now. Just need the tires which I'll be picking up soon. I think Tirerack is closed for Xmas so I'm picking them up from American Tire Depot instead. Can't wait to come home...

1 pointJust an update on my case 10 days ago I changed the fluid and the filter, about 0.5 litter extra oil went in as well compare to what I got out of it While doing this, I disconnected the main plug from transmission, it looked fine but I sprayed contact cleaner in it anyway Since then I have driven about 1000 km and the light has not come back on at all, everything seems ok and all is working well. Hopefully it will stay this way Thanks for all replies Cheers

1 pointEBC red stuff. Got a pretty good deal - front and rears + delivery for just under $300. Would like to full brake kit but just too many $$$s. Have got some ideas for keeping the brakes cool to not have to.
-
1 pointthey all seem to be like that my m sport(and it was factory msport) e34 was exactly the same
-
1 pointAye... It does look good. And I am very pleased with it. I'm kinda seeking my version of perfection, which is something I said I'd not do with this car! Oh well... Lots to do before I start 'playing' with the suspension. I'll check the sills on my car, but from the pic it looks as though they may also sit parallel to the ground. I used the 'clean my car' filter in Photoshop.

1 pointMerry Christmas to you too! I haven't been on here long but I can say that all you Wellington bimmersporters seem like a great bunch. I'd be keen to come along to a few meets or something next year too. Anyway, all the best for the new year
-
1 point+1 Cheers all, been great meeting a lot more of you this year, the Auckland guys at Brian's memorial at the start of the year, and the Brewery Run particular highlights for me All the best

1 pointSome nice bikes being posted. I'm still on the old faithful GN250. Really should get around to getting my full licence so i can upgrade.

1 pointI'd stay away, in fact I'd move to Antarctica which would be the farthest distance away from one. I've owned two of these and both have ended in tears quite badly. Yes; when they are working properly they are a good ride, but the critical word in that sentence is when! I'd expect it could cost upwards of 10k potentially...then you're still left with a UK import 10 year old Range Rover.
-
1 pointTroo, but in all seriousness are you really going to see a 150k car offroad anytime soon? It will spend 99% of it's time in light mud, gravel and mainly the road, there are other German marque's out there that do give you low range for a much lower price than a Landcruiser & I'm more talking about a VX Landcruiser, a 70 series is a different kettle o fish again.

1 pointDo you think you could ring him for me and ask him how much he would paint my car for? I have $500, must be mint job, no canz.
-
1 pointWhat I would do is keep posting on the internet for another few days and leave it until the end of next week, businesses love it when people leave things to the last working week of the year.
