Had some resonators installed at the center (replacing the straight pipes) this morning to get rid of the cabin droning. Sounds very pleasant inside the car now, and the outside still sounds good - though slightly quieter, but a fair bit deeper. Liking it so far!

Cars are becoming on that equal scale of power and pleasure - esp the Euros. I for one would look at all Euros in the given price range of the M4, but at the end of the day, It's the heartfelt commitment of that BMW badge that I would want to see on my bonnet every morning

Bit of a plug for my own listing. I bought some of the bits to do the seal replacement, but sold the car before I had the chance to do it. If you are interested, let me know. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=746889343

As me, the 4 doors do nothing for me. Coupes & better - the vert look great IMO. That colour too is one of the best Well done!

Welded/Lock diff would be best choice for grass trekking and symmetry..

I'd say it's the battery in either the siren on the main unit. That's usually 99% of our call outs at work

Weight is not the issue for me. The size of the car is. I keep mistaking them for 5 series cars. If I wanted a big car I would get the 5 series. Which is now the size of a 7 series....hmmmm. BMW seems to be having trouble with this. Must be the guys designing the Mini's getting involved. Mini in German I think is Landcruiser.

hey mate, PM me the links to the items you'd like and i will let you know the price incl the appropriate fraction of the shipping cost. then we'll do some sort of deposit system (just to protect me if you dont mind .. dw amber and many others on the forum will track me down and kneecap me if i screw anyone around !! I'm usually at most if not all meets since I got the bmw. then I will pay for the parts and then when they arrive, I will route them to you. Of course since youre in dunners, there will be additional shipping charge from the box of stuff arriving at my doorstep to forward the parts to you, but when it comes to heavy bulky things like springs, it will be much cheaper than ordering from UUC yourself!! Oh and also .. I will look into some of the rotors I can get my hands on ............ are you after OEM floating or are you after cross drilled or slotted etc? Cheers

Bigger displacement, better engine management, motor weighs less, more torque and power. It's the exact same as swapping an m50, the only extra is getting around EWS but if you get all the bits from the same car it isn't an issue. Or you can get the DME flashed and EWS removed which is what I did since I couldn't get the EWS box etc.
