Jesus Toby you sound like you would be one of those really annoying c@nts at a party that goes around wanking on about all the things he owns. Anyone who signs a forum post with their full name and what they have studied is ,in my opinion, the highest form of douche. We normally throw these people in the pool or rub our nuts in their mouths when they pass out on the couch after drinking three beers. You remind me actually of a guy I went to school with, sh*t he got a lot of different men's testicles smeared on his face over the years. Congrats, you can afford to buy a sub 20k car, $20k is not a lot of money these days fella and anyone can walk into the bank and get a 20k loan. I know for a fact that half the people on this forum are much more "successful" than you are and don't even have any followers on facebook! I can't exaggerate enough how badly I hope we never meet in person. Thread locked

Lots done in the last 48 hours. Removed all running gear/suspension from N42/auto powered touring. Stripped donor E46 M3 completely. Cut 1/4 panels and rear boot floor from M3. Installed S54 into the touring. AuxPump delete. Front suspension loaded in (bilsteins PSS10}. Keeping it badged as a 318i until the final stage (panel grafts & paint) is completed. I`ll let the pics speak for themselves.

Take the tyres off the rims too, that will get it even closer to the ground.. P.S. have passed your name, pic and rego WY6507 onto my buddy who just happens to be a patrol cop in your area... he reckons that it will be heading to the crusher if it is found on the road like that. knuckledragger

Haha it was a thought Josh. Heading to Waikato this weekend, just not with the right car! Not to worry though, will be doing a few longer trips in it soon. As for the exhaust, I decided against the Akrapovic with the expense of the engine looming. Maybe another time but at this stage I'm happy!

Top row of lights on the dash led display went out even though the bulbs were fine meaning you couldn't see the odometer, temp, etc without the sun being directly on it or with a torch. Stepper motor in speedo wouldn't display more than 40km per hour and would only return to 20km rather than sitting on zero. He said he had only repaired about 4 resistor in the time he has been doing it and stepper motors weren't that common either.Kerry said that someone had already been in the dash at some point and that may have contributed to the stepper failure as the armature on them is damaged easily

Yeah it is, tyres are stuffed so you wouldn't be driving anywhere on them anyway.

Well this is just it. I resent the idea that local outfits are just adding on huge margins for the sake of it and penalising their customer base. It's not 1987 anymore and thanks to the internet and cheap(ish) shipping we simply aren't slaves to distance and huge duties like we used to be. Suppliers here need to realise that otherwise in time everyone is just going to buy everything online. There is a shop on Customs St West in Auckland City that sells men's business shoes - the exact same brand and style I (and about 90% of guys there) used to wear to work in London. Over there, they cost me around 140 quid. Here, the guy is charing $700. Now, you can order those exact shoes direct from various stores in London and only be subject to exchange rate and 25 quid shipping, meaning if I wanted to I could land them for about $320. The guy is living in the past.

Great to see Tristan. Nothing better than getting your car back after a long period of time. Looks really good btw. Black wheels complete the look IMO makes the car look more hardcore. Also noticed it helps show off the lines of the car a little more. Something that I think was alway missing on e92s

Awww crap. Thanks for the info.. Would've been nice if they'd shared that snippet of info on thier Trademe ad. A wee bit over priced for a car with that many Kms.. I might have considered it if it was a 750i.. But not for a il which as we've established in the Trademe discussion section aren't that rare..

Yes definitely safe. Device will only draw what it needs. Connect it to a computer usb it will take the max 500ma but connect it to a 3a/15w charger most phones will only draw the max which is about 2100ma. No harm in it, does't damage your battery or anything.

And the floors ... Bringing the rimu back to what it should be, the previous coating was quite screwed up and messy. This should be much better.
