Was up at the arse crack of dawn to go see this with a mate who was keen. Will be bringing it back to christchurch on Wednesday. He is a member on here so will try to get him to make a thread. If not I'll do one for him :-)

Fixed my digital climate control head unit today which was a little annoying because I actually had it professionally fixed about 8 years ago and secondly I hate soldering electronics, I'm fine with larger electrical stuff but find electronic components very fiddly. But it had to be done and this time I'm using a 1.0 instead of 0.47 capacitor for more headroom. And to be honest I think I did a pretty fine job... All tested and working fine! I followed this DIY so thanks to Richard for keeping it up: http://www.macadamizer.com/bmwfix.html

Unfortunately this isn't a shiny slippery feel... This is a 400000km+, worn out and little surface left, kind of feel!

Both of these are a good read. http://www.amazon.com/Designing-Tuning-High-Performance-Injection-Systems/dp/1932494901/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8 http://www.amazon.com/Modify-Management-Systems-Motorbooks-Workshop/dp/0760315825/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8 I haven't yet purchased anything from HPA. Main reason being is all the free webinars etc that i've seen haven't added much to what these books have given me. As soon as they bring back lifetime membership to their forum i'll hand over some money to see what it is like.
