Might have to. Although even at standard height the csi front can be problematic because the bonnet is so long!

She's at GDH panel shop while off road waiting for a new radiator. Cracked nose has been repaired and reinforced and the paint shop has just started priming. Bumper and csi spoiler and diffuser should be painted and fitted before the weekend. Saw a test fitting and I'm a bit concerned about how low it'll be... I've got a nasty steep drive. Eek.

Cams and chips are supplied by the Race Series, I can pm you pricing if you are still interested. M42 is not that common, lots more of the M44 kicking around from E36s and compacts. No idea on the differences, or how hard it is to put one into an E30...

It's quite a silly, wide reaching question with very little specific info, so I'd say... $3500 p.a.?

Hard to get a better E36 4 door in all fairness.

Guys on m3cutters that have installed these and run them on alpha n with a tune on the dyno report similar HP as a CSL Will from Geoff Steel run these on his race winning competition racecar and i believe he has made much more with cams. The fact is you don't actually need CSL cams to make CSL power (provided you know what to adjust in the DME)

Can't help with the fitment sorry but was wondering whether the cone filters will have some kind of enclosure around them. Otherwise, can't help thinking they will suck in a lot of warm engine air unlike the stock intake which is sealed and draws ducted cold air straight from the intakes.

+1 on Timeserts, given 2 helicoils failed on my mower I wouldn't be too keen on using them on a car engine. I would imagine by the time you removed and stripped the engine, paid for a pro to do the Timeserts, inspect & machine the head, new fasteners and gaskets etc etc it would be more cost effective to just pay the $1500 - odd and throw a replacement engine in the hole. Disadvantages to doing that too, but damned if you do / don't really!

I would expect a mechanic to road-test a car for any issues before a service, but 39km/h over the limit in town is not on. Watched an apprentice wheel spin my car most of the way from the car park into the service bay once. Cost the Service Manager a free service and two new tyres
