Got married and the wedding car was my very own e30. Massive thanks to RAERAE and Simon for helping getting her back together in time. Wedding was on the 1st day of spring. Best day of my life

Yup. Today I moved on from evisceration to complete disembowelment. Top tip - don't shut the boot on your E46 wagon when the battery is disconnected.

He's from Lithuania and his English was very broken. I had to help him fill out the change of ownership. I did write down the forum address and gave it to him but he didn't seem too interested. We'll see. To those in Auckland, keep an eye out and you may see it around.

Finally got a warrant last week. Huge muck around over seatbelt covers. Ended up 3d printing some seatbelt nut covers. Any-hu that's in the past Wideband and egt sensors are installed. Car doesn't have O2 feedback to the ecu. It consistently runs very rich. Cruise, idle and acceleration. Only time it was a little efficient at cruise was when it was warmed up and the outside temp was 7ish degrees. Suspension feels great. Only major letdown is the open diff. I'll fix that today I've somehow collected 2 spare m50 throttle bodies along the way. So tested my machining/measuring skills and made a big bore throttle body Original throttle body is 63.85mm and i've bored it out to 68mm. I'll be getting some brass blades and new fasteners to make things look a bit more professional. Hardest part of the mod was putting the springs back on.

Kind of feels that way but I still have the 750i and if another 740i comes along I may jump on it. I saw something on another forum and I'd like to do something similar. The E38 addiction is still alive and well..lol

Don't stick your 260 in it. The bellhousing is tilted 10*. Better to sell it to the e30/28 crowd and buy a 220

ENGINE BAY IS PAINTED its not 100% show stopping paint job, but i am happy with the outcome esp for a garage can paint job Also picked up some new wheels over the weekend to replace the e38 wheels, now to adjust everything so they fit nicely

Things are starting to snowball, all the fabrication is being completed (only a couple of small bits once motor is in) Engine bay is prepped and ready to go, removable rad support all riv nutted into place, holes for cables and hoses drilled, all brake lines shaped and bent ready to go. Just needs a final sand and will be time to put some paint down. Have also purchased some other parts I have been chasing for the last 12 months am pretty stoked to get my hands on. Will add to the style of the wheels, next update should be a big one.

This ones done itself a small mischief. Previous owner lived across the road. Had a broken headlight, bumper and smacked in guard before it moved on. Made funny noises before the prang too.
